Beautiful view

I went there at night with a group of friends and enjoyed the great sound of waves hitting the shore and a great view of a bright full moon!

La Playita is a swimmable beach in San Jose and was clean with friendly people - both tourist and some local folks enjoying the sun and fun!

La Playita is great to visit because of it's still authentic small Mexican town. A bit upgraded and some fun restaurants including the Drunken Salior. Be sure and check out the marina around 11 am when the fisher folks come in.

Went here and met several guys to go fishing with. Enjoyed a great day at sea and caught several nice size tunas. Loved this part of the trip

Public beaches in the Cape areas are disappearing at a fast pace. In fact, most are now gone. But not this one. It is well worth visiting

There were only about 6 other people here. We swam in the ocean, just small waves. Repairs going on to nearby buildings. We had lunch at a nearby restaurant. Took the city bus to get back and forth for $1.

This is my favorite beach in San Jose! I spend most of the year here and am a total beach lover. I can walk this beautiful beach for a long distance- it is very safe both for swimming and for being on my own. The color of the water and clarity are stunning!
