It's a good place to worship and pray. Even though the building is not too old but inside church still has its old... More

A beautiful old Mission in the middle of San Jose. Very picturesque and well worth the visit. Next visit I'd love to get some more pictures of the unique art.

Unique architecture.the mosaic on the front of the building was very cool. All the hand laid tiles and stones were well done. In the church and front courtyard. There is a fountain out front with statues and large busts.the area is full of shops, restaurants, and a large police station.further south is newer construction , large stores, ( mega, Walmart,... This is a lovely cathedral in the center of San Jose, an easy walk or bus ride from the hotel strip. We saw it one year in March decorated with garlands of sunflowers for the Festival of Saint Joseph--just spectacular! There is interesting history involving opposition to the Church's rules about plural marriage and the indigenous people during the Spanish... More

This historic church is situated in the main square of the city and is peaceful, quiet and beautiful. There was an evening service being conducted at the time we arrived, but after it was over we had a quick look inside without going in....we didn't want to disturb those that were still in prayer. The church's history is written in... More

Quaint but beautiful! Such a peaceful evening and sunset. Stop for a glass of wine at The View next door.
