This is an old church standing in the main old town plaza. So simple and old. Not much to see inside. The outside is worth taking a picture of. The old town plaza is a place to visit while you are here and visit the shops and restaurants.

We travel a lot and visited this Mission on the City Tour, we have seen so many churches in our past, but this area is different due to the circumstances of the settlers and situations. As we always do on the second last day, we bring toothpaste and toothbrushes wrapped together with elastics (at least 6 sets), along with soap... More

My husband and I while not Catholic, had the pleasure of visiting this service twice during our last visit to San Jose. We do not speak Spanish, but found the services one of the highlights of our trip. The congregation's children started and closed the service - very heartwarming. We felt welcomed and included. One of the mornings we were... More

Entering the Mission gave me a feeling wonder of the ability of the settlers to adapt. See the plaque at the entrance of the church.

Very old church in main square. Has lots of steps. Very simple inside, not as ornate as other churches I've visited in Mexico. I tried finding a candle to light, as there were candles lit already. Asked the custodian where I can purchase a candle, but he didn't speak any English. He pointed me outside somewhere down the street but... More

EVERYTIME I go to Cabo, I stop inside this church. There is something very special about this place. I just moves me. I go in and just sit for awhile and yes, take pictures both inside and out. One of then turned out so nice and blew it up to an 11x14and framed it. LOVE this church!

The simplicity of the mission is inspiring. Work was being gone on the outside still repairing from the hurricane? A few panes of stain glass were broken? Not sure if this was from the storm 2 yrs ago?

Beautiful stain glass windows line this church which was spared the 2014 hurricane. Unfortunately, some of the windows are still missing some of the glass, but that alone doesn't take away from the beauty of this little church. Spanish and bilingual mass is offered.

The church was beautiful and there is a lot of small stone work in the courtyard with a lot of detail. the church overlooks the main downtown shopping area.
