Typical and nice Mexican town center

Every day activities, but more in the evenings, practically every on in December. Music, dancing groups and other entertainment on the city stage. Old church is nice.

A feeling of being back in historic Mexico with a mixture of new shops, some quite good. Especially enjoyed the original silver creations at Authentic Jewelry

This is a great stop for lunch and shopping. It was closer to our hotel than Cabo and had everything we needed. Loved the Mission Church, just beautiful.

Beautiful square. Cathedral nearby. Food and craft stands/stalls. Thursday night art walk. Band playing but not too loud. Families relaxing and having fun. Tourists relaxing and having fun. Food and craft stands. I love the real old school vibe and atmosphere of a town square. Get outa the hotel zone, off the beach and experience real San Jose. Enjoy. Smile.

A large bandshell was built in the square, and every night there were dance groups, bands, singers, comedians. And vendors!

Incredibly friendly locals. Immerse yourself in San Jose del Cabo! For a tiny town, the city square was huge. There is great shopping all around.

What a nice place to visit, it was quite safe, it was clean, and the people were friendly. We stopped to get coffee forgot the name of the shop, it was organic and it was delicious. Just go and walk, forget about the bus

At night especially the square is alive with families celebrating. Our first night there was a celebration, we believe, of San Jose (the saint). We were all up dancing to the live music on stage. The next morning the army was marching to typical Mexican band music. Then at night there was an art show. Kids stay up & run... More

Awesome, do not miss this on Thursday nights. Local artisans, music, food, and great for an evening stroll with dinner and a few drinks before of after.

Town folk and shop staff were super friendly and spoke good English, Also got great deals! Pharmacy shops do not require a prescription.. I thought that was odd!
