We went on a thursday night during the art walk and the town was a buzz. Vendors, music, food and a sense of pure enjoyment. You also see the church which is picture taking needed. Thanks to all the people for making us feel welcomed!

The Plaza or main square has many artisan shops and a few kitchy shops as is to be expected. But the merchants are not so pushy to attract you into their shops, not that they don't try! But if you move on that's it. There are some upscale art galleries, restaurants, cigar stores (beware if you are looking for real... More

I like the culture on display. nearly 300 year old church is great history. The square has many vendors and at time entertainment.

This quaint little town has shop after shop. Lots of local souvenirs, silver jewelry, local pottery, clothing and the ubiquitous tee shirts.

We usually stay at one of the big resorts on the coast and walk up into town. The town has a nice relaxed feel. There are some tourist shops but not like Cabo. We also don't miss the drunk tourists that make a fool of themselves in Cabo! There are lots of good places to eat if you look around.

We chanced upon this square during Sunday night outdoor Vespers service. Beautiful music. Then we ate DELICIOUS grilled fish at an outside table at Molly's Sports Bar -- which was not a sports bar! Just dined and watched the local families enjoying the evening. Perfect! P.s. The fish at Molly's is not to be missed!

Fun afternoon walking around the downtown area visiting many of the shops and enjoying the sights. Love the old Mexican architecture and cobblestone streets!
