We enjoy the historical points of this area in town ane thursday night art walk can be quite enjoyable. The restaurants are a plenty. The store however just a mass of tacky souvenir stores with all the same product. A been there done that experience. We did find the area very clean.

Nice shopping, great street food, very clean, easy bus ride from hotels, well worth the visit to see a local town. It is touristy but not like Cabo San Lucas (San Jose del Cabo is quiet).

Main square area is worth a couple of hours strolling around. Generally calm and peaceful. Have a coffee at Molly's to take in the scene. Then walk the four square blocks of the Art District. Mostly serious art with not much souvenir type stuff. Some lovely pottery and other works by known artists with serious prices to match. The main... More

Within walking distance of Barcelo Grand Faro. Mi Casa restaurante was delicioso & great atmosphere! Old Mission Church was beautiful..even though mass was in Spanish, they do have a noon mass on Sunday in English. Very friendly locals!

We were there during the art walk. It was a very pleasurable stroll to see the local art. All vendors were nice and professional. There was none of the pushiness from some street vendors that i have encountered in other cities.

Went for the art walk and one night for the beauty contest where many locals attended.....I enjoyed watching the crowd as much as the beauty pageant...don't be afraid to eat from the carts....the food is cheap and good....I loved the tamales.

Every Thursday evening in the old centro square there is an art walk where all of the galleries and artists open their doors to the public. Lots of local people singing, dancing, childrens dance troupes on stage, a very festive night. All restaurants are open and if you are looking for late night entertainment go to the back room of... Less than a 20 minute drive from Los Cabos, San Jose del Cabo is a sleepy village that is less trafficked and lacks many of the loud outdoor bars that Cabo has many of. Not a huge amount to do, but worth an afternoon stroll if you happen to be on the Baja California peninsula on vacation or just as... More

We went twice, once in the morning and once again on the Thursday night art walk. Very well maintained. Vendors of course, want you in their store but pleasant when you decline. Barter on the price! A plate in the square was 90US - the same plate was 45US at our hotel when some vendors set up. I purchased the... More

Better prices than you will find in downtown Cabo. Stores/vendors will work with you and getting a great deal.
