this is one of the nicer ones in Baja - they have cut off the cars so you can freely want around the square. The is an old band stand, stage, and the old church; lots of places to eat and shop and several hotels. There were a few stands as well; we had tamales in the evening; very tasty.... More

The church and general plaza area are beautifully landscaped. Thursday night art walks are a highlight of any visit with excellent art galleries and jazz music to accompany your stroll.

Great statues and art in this area. It seemed a little sketch so i would definitely go during the day.

Found a gorgeous jewelry shop - even had cold beer for us while shopping! That's service! The art was lovely provided by the vendors...my girls bought hoodies and loved them!

Short walk from our resort. Nice old buildings and nice rooftop bar across from city hall called Shooters. Nice view from here and nice cold beer. Apparently owned by a Canadian lady, so you can't go wrong here. Down the street are many shops, along with a beautiful old church you can view.

We enjoyed going down town on Thursday nights for the art walk. We like to stop at Molly's for drinks and appetizers!

The town square was well designed and airy. The Thursday art event there was frosting on the cake.... I loved the tribute display to famous and influential people in the areas history

Probably worth the trip up there to see the town and visit some of the galleries. However, many closed after the hurricane and have not opened. We went early and didn't stay for the Art Walk which began at 5, but that might have been a better plan.
