The marina is surrounded by a mall, shops, and places to eat. You also catch boats here for a tour of the Arch or ride to Lover's beach. It appears most folks who visit the area find their way to the marina sooner or later and it seemed very safe.

A walk through the marina area gives you first hand view of Cabo, from the great bars and places to drink and eat to the people struggling to make it day to day. It was a great experience in the diversity of Mexico. There were areas we felt completely vulnerable and unsafe, only to be greeted by friendly, welcoming locals.

Very disappointed in the Marina area. It was very scary to walk thru with our family as lots of the local natives approach you and do not leave you alone as you walk thru.

This marina is beautiful! Great place to walk around and look at the boats, stop in at the restaurants, and stroll some shops. Just be aware that you will get bombarded everywhere you turn by locals trying to sell you their merchandise, go into their restaurant, go fishing with their boat, or try to get you to attend a timeshare... Stayed in Cabo a week, and strolled the harbor at least one a day. Endless choices for restaurants. Whatever you are in the mood for, you will find it on the harbor. I'm not a big shopper, but there are plenty of opportunities for the shopping inclined. Street vendors selling any tourist item you can imagine. Don't forget to haggle.... More

We went to the marina three times over the five days we were in Cabo. It has a wide range of restaurants to fit any price range. If you'll looking for American-style chain restaurants, you can find these here too. The shopping is great, from a nice mall to outdoor market style vendors where you can get great deals on... More

My family and I enjoyed a really nice stroll along the Marina. Plenty of shops and restaurants. We loved the street performers reminded us a little of venice in that regard. The view of the boats and yachts parked along the Marina were beautiful.

The visitor's center of downtown Cabo includes restaurants, shops, and an upscale mall. Walking and watching the boats coming and going is pleasant. It is clean and safe, and the walkway is very nice. You can charter a fishing trip or a pang to see El Arco.
