CABO TREK is a small company dedicated to family friendly watersport activities such as Whale Watching, Scuba Diving & Snorkeling. Join our small groups and enjoy the Ocean experience like never before with our Marine Biologists and PADI certified Instructors.

WHALE WATCHING:

The only educational WHALE WATCHING tour in Los Cabos with a certified marine biologist and underwater audio/video technology onboard. Come visit us at our marina storefront inside the Wyndham Hotel! Perfect for families and photographers alike, who would like an unforgettable experience with the largest animals on earth.

SCUBA DIVING & SNORKELING:

Scuba Diving is an incredible experience in Cabo San Lucas. Our PADI certified Instructors will take care of you during the whole duration of the tour. Weather you want to explore the Cabo San Lucas Marine Park, the Corridor or eventually the Marine Park of Cabo Pulmo, we always try to find the best solutions for your needs. All the tours are totally private guaranteeing you dedicated attention by the instructores to make the experience as enjoyable, safe & fun as possible.

WHALE SHARK SNORKELING: by joining us for one of our research trips, participants get the opportunity to interact with the whale sharks in their natural habit, learn about the scientific research that is being undertaken, contribuite to the conservation of these majestic sharks and have a great time doing it.

MAGDALENA BAY 2 DAY EXCURSION: Lopez Mateos as known as Magdalena Bay is one of the few places in the world where you can have a very intimate whale watching experience: the whales over the years have become very used to have curious humans coming from very far to see them! 2 days tour with overnight stay and 2 whale watching tours.

You'll be inspired by the endless knowledge our university trained marine biologist and PADI Certified Instructors, Frankie and Philipp, boasts as he shares all there is to know about Los Cabos Nature.

Rest assured that your tour: Whale Watching, Diving or Snorkeling will be nothing short of the experience of a lifetime and our professional photographer is there to capture every moment of your trek.

If you're feeling adventurous we're happy to organize special, private tours of whale watching and your choice of scuba diving or snorkeling.

It was important to us to have an educational tour where we would learn about these amazing mammoths in their own habitat. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Walking into the office they already knew who we were and it being a small group we got to ask any questions without issue. Our guide, Frank, and the... More

Philipp runs a very customer focused tour organization. Frankie, the naturalist, has a wealth of knowledge and shares it throughout his tours. We took 2 tours with them - an 8:00 am Cabo Humpback tour on Sunday 1/31/16 and a 2 day Magdalena Bay overnight adventure on Monday 2/1/16. This is our second year that we have experienced the CaboTrek... More

Best whale watching tour. We immediately found whales and stayed on multiple groups entire time. Marine biologist gives ot of info. Lots of room in boat to move around and take pictures. Take advantage of Frankie's great pictures of your experience.

Very professional service, great on board guide and unlike other boats out of Cabo, not crowded at all, with plenty of space. Guide very knowledgeable about whales and certified Master Diver. Will repeat, for sure.

I had a great day seeing the whale sharks as well as the country side outside Cabo San Lucas on the way to La Paz. Phillip was informative and fun, while catering to the wants and needs of our small group. The fact that it was coupled with the Whale Shark Reserch Project marine biologists made it possible for me... More

Excellent, the tour guide was well informed and did everything he could to find whales. We had a whale sing under out boat for about a half hour. You could hear him without any amplifying equipment. a perfect day, it was on my bucket list

Frankie took us to the best places where we saw tons of whales. Got great photos, since Frankie is also a professional photographer. Lupe the captain was superb. This is the best thing we did in Los Cabos.

We booked our tour with Cabo Trek long before our trip. We went out the second day in Cabo. It was a beautiful day and by the end of the two hours we had seen whales swimming next to us blowing and coming up slowly for air, one full breech, four huge head bangs, a few tail slaps and a... More

We are so glad you came back the second day for even more action! We wish that all of our guests could see breaches, tail slaps and the more aggressive behaviors, but it is not always possible on one tour. For this reason we recommend taking two tours to better the chance of seeing these huge animals completely breaching out... More

Wonderful tour of Cabo and watching whales, sea lions and a school of dolphins! They were a great crew and very respectful of whales in their natural habitat. Loved it!!!!

Thank you Frankie, our experienced & knowledgable naturalist for providing us with facts & stories about the humpbacks and other Baja whales. We were lucky to follow a mother & her one yr old calf for quite a while as the calf was frolicking, unthreatened by our traveling alongside. Until a giant dinner cruise boat starting following at rapid speed,... More

Frankie works really hard to share his knowledge of these animals with all of our tour guests. As well, not many of the whale watching boats here in Los Cabos are diligent in following the rules set by OWC, especially the larger booze cruises which are not even supposed to be allowed within 1000 feet of the whales! Here at... More
