all products were the same whether you were at the mall or flea market--very little if any negotiating
I didn't find anything worth buying. The vendors are very aggressive and they all have the same stuff. Not worth it.
We always hit the flea market when we are there because you don't have to spend all day looking for bargains and gifts on the street. The storefronts are nothing fancy, but they have everything and are willing to negotiate.
Great fun, just remember to negotiate all the prices. The vendors are a bit pushy but fun and the love the challenge of negotiating for their goods. Great place to pick up local goods and t-shirts.
Be careful when buying silver. May be nickel instead. Make sure you wear sunscreen. If paying in dollars, do not accept pesos as change. It's a ripoff
I like the flea market! I didn't buy anything because it's all of the same souvenirs you'll find all over the place. However, it's worth walking around and having a look.
I like looking at the different booths and seeing where the best buy is and the quality of the item. They have done several improvements to the entries and sidewalks. It makes it alot easier to get around.
It helps to speak a little more than a few words of spanish. If you do..you can haggle with the best of them. If not...just pay what they are asking and get out! Or you could go broke in there with their aggresiveness.
