It's everything that you would expect from an active glass blowing factory. Over 30 artisans are on site, some demonstrating their glass blowing techniques. They invited one of the tourists to blow glass which was interesting. I guess it's not that easy to do. Glass blowing in Mexico started in 1535 when the Spanish brought glass blowing artisans to the... More

We were on a tour of the are and our first stop was at the glass blowing factory located on the edge of the city. Miraculously, the building survived the recent hurricane with little damage. Inside, we watched a craftsman create wonderful glass figurines in just a few minutes for each one. One was a hummingbird flying into a flower... More

We took a tour of the glass factory, watched as their artists created new pieces, and then shopped in their clean and reasonably priced little boutique. We really had a great time talking to the staff and exploring in detail the process used for their art. I was a bit (pleasantly) surprised by how welcome we were made to feel... More

We went to this location as part of our day tour - not sure we got everything we paid for. But all of that aside, we did watch a very nice demonstration of how they turn recycled glass bottles into beauiful pieces of art. I only wish we would have had more room to bring a variety of things home.... More

We were on a ship's tour during our day in port. Loved this stop, as we were able to see the artists making glass creations out of super hot glass, just fascinating! Bought a few things to bring home, really enjoyed this stop.

The experience was fantastic. The workers were very entertaining. They let the audience participate. The facility was beautiful with all the glass windows & the back room is amazing. I bought lots of things to take home-turtles, whales. Just beautiful art & talented people. Amazing how fast they are!

The glass factory was one of the first business to be established in Cabo. It is still an important contributor to the local economy and supplies much of the glass used in the resorts - both functional and decorative. The shop has an amazing stock of sturdy glassware as well an beautiful vases, bowls, and figurines. Ship the tourist schlock... More

Our tour of Cabos San Lucas included a trip to the Glass Blowing factory. They use recycled glass - family business, We had front row seat and were shown step by step how they make a lovely glass fish. This would be great if you had kids with you. It is a simple factory but what they make is wonderful.... More
