Took a water taxi from the marina to lover's beach for $5 pp one way. Total was $30 roundtrip taxi and snorkeling gear for two. I was very excited to go but somewhat dissapointed. Yes,it is beautiful and yes I saw some fish but it was not worth the hassle. It is cool that on one side is the Sea... more

Lovers Beach really is a beautiful and amazing place, but no one mentioned all the flies! We went in the late afternoon around 4-5ish in February and there were flies everywhere. We couldn't sit down for 5 minutes without flies swarming all over us. It was very annoying - I would not want to eat here. However I should mention... more

This place was cool and beautiful. It was nice to check out the rocks up close and just chill out on the beach. The only thing I didn't like was jumping out of the water taxi into the sea. The water is choppy and has strong currents. I'd recommend not bringing a lot of stuff b/c it's hard to carry... more

This was a really pretty port. Not tropical like Puerto Vallarta, but amazing rock formations jutting out of the water. There is no big commercial port, you are tendered to the marina instead. Once again we did not plan any cruise ship excursions as they are much more expensive that those you can get onshore. We spent $20 each on... more

I like Lover's Beach in that it is uniquely located by the rock formations near El Arco. It is also very unique in that if you walk over other side of the beach, you will reach Divorce Beach and the Pacific Ocean. The waves on Divorce Beach is very ferocious in comparison to it's counter part, Lover's Beach. Although the... more

We recently returned from a cruise to Cabo, Mazatlan, etc. We took a brief tour around Lover's beach and divorced man's beach which was beautiful. Note: most of the local boats that provided tours did not have life jackets which is another story. They also make you sign a waiver if you are injured (or worse) which states that they... more

This was a stop over of our cruise ship. I was with my daughter, grand children and friends. We wanted to spend a day at the beach and some members wanted to do some snorkeling. We took a water taxi from the dock. The boat driver stopped at the local marina for beer($5 a six pack) and soft drinks. The... more

We went on a cruise in Oct 2006 We found Cabo very expensive, and vendors will not barter. Oh well, we shopped at our other ports and received better service and prices. Our highlight of Cabo was Lover's Beach. The kids loved it, it was busy yes, but if you go to the other side, very secluded, BUT DO NOT... more

I just returned from a Cruise to Mexico. Our first stop was Cabo San Lucas. In our group we had 12 adults and 2 children. We hired a water taxi to take us to lovers beach. The cost was $10.00 per person and we did NOT pay him until he picked us up, which he was just fine with. I... more

We were able to take a water taxi out to Lover's Beach mid March. We "caught" the water taxi in front of Mango Deck next to the Office on Medano Beach. For $10 round trip we went for a tour all around El Arco, saw the Seal Colony, lots of pelicans & then we were let off at La Playa... more
