Yes, it can be a bit cheesy....and yes, it is a bit overamericanized, but this place is still worth stopping in. The bands range from average to good...but the people-watching alone is worth it (Drunk overtanned cougars, Bacholerrette parites, etc.)

Whether you're a fan of Sammy Hagar or Van Halen, if you're in Cabo San Lucas looking for a dance club, you need to stop in here.
Cabo Wabo is located just a few blocks from the marina. You really cant miss it due to the iconic freudian tower in the logo. You shouldn't need a cab to get here...

It is mandatory to visit while in Cabo and is a destination. Nice people, cold drinks, and a fun atmosphere.
We really enjoyed our time here. The drinks are amazing and the music and dancing wonderful!!!! It is a must when in Cabo.
Cabo Wabo was a lot of fun! They had great music, dancing, bands. I don't think you would feel out of place there whatever your age. Everyone was enjoying themselves. The place to be at night.
Cool spot, but over priced for the area. $5 beer? In Cabo? Thanks, but no thanks. Take your pictures and move on to Tacos Locos around back for cheap beers and great food.
Had a great time listening to the patio band and watching BBall. Only place I have ever closed out my tab four times.
A great place to get your groove on! Only negative thing is that it's so popular it gets really crowded there. So come early get a good table and everything is a little more enjoyable. The atmosphere is legendary of coarse.
so much fun we went here multiple times during our trip to cabo. the band was a lot of fun and we had a great time dancing and singing along.
Famously known for what?
We called by here after doing the booze cruise looking for a place to grab some beers and kick on..
What a disappointment!
Over priced bucket of beer and no music playing leading to very average atmosphere.
We were there at Sundowner (5pm-6.30pm) and honestly would have thought it would be starting to crank up but...
