Beth is a great and full of excitement for her riders. The cowboys she has working with here are really sweet and knowledgeable about the horses and the countryside. The trails are spectacular and a place that is owned privately so not very many people get to see it. The canyon is amazing and the view at the top is... More

It was with great trepidation that I offered to accompany my cowgirl cousin from Texas (savoring San Miguel de Allende sights with me) to Leisurely Country Horseback Riding the day before we returned to the States. ';d read the reviews about one positive experience after another and wanted so much to make it possible for my cousin to do her... More

Beth and her team were excellent hosts/guides. I was a bit hesitant about going horseback riding at first since I had not been on a horse since I was 8, but this turned out to be a fantastic and very enjoyable experience. This was a great way to spend 4 hours and the views and paths were amazing. My horse... More

Great ride and great guides. The guides picked the horse related to ones ability. The ride area was outstanding.

We went on a trip with two kids (4 and 6). We did the horseback ride, lunch and trip to La Gruta. Beth was incredibly easy to work with to schedule while we were still state side and also for pick up and drop off in San Miguel. I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to get off the... More

Beth and her team provide a top class service, the horses are clearly well cared for and are very sure footed across the varied terrain, our morning trail took us through the rivers, up into the mountains in order to see the incredible vista, Beth allows you to go at your own pace and there is the chance to trot... I'm not a horse rider at all. I did it for my partner but it was great and very safe. The horse was so relaxed. I even cantered a couple of times and got that feeling you imagine. Because I was a bit nervous I was led the whole way which made it much more relaxing. I'm really glad I... More

From the excellent communication leading up to my adventure clear through the last photo opp, riding with Beth and her teams was a real pleasure. THE HORSES Are all genuine cowponies trained by local vaqueros. Indeed, most of these are their actual mounts. Leisurely Country Horseback Riding (LCHR) has contracted with them to gently use their awesome horses on the... More

The countryside around SMA is beautiful. Period. And the ruggedness is part of the history of the town. Take a tour by horseback to see the full picture of the town and the region surrounding it.

Beth was really sweet and the horses were so well trained. Hardly any directions required at all. I loved the homemade lunch and the trip to La Gruta was the perfect way to end this day. Thank you Beth and Catalino!
