I found this spa on on trip advisor and after reading reviews decided to schedule a spa pedi and traditional mani. Lets start with the good. Gaby was my pedi tech and really took her time to give me what I expected to be above and beyond a basic pedicure. The atmosphere was very relaxing and very comfortable. However, for... More

My Mom and I were staying at Casa de Sierra Nevada and went to their Laja Spa the Sunday before we left. We both got the "Day of Spa Package" and enjoyed the treatments together by Gaby and Consuela. The scrub was awesome and got rid of all my dead skin and restored my circulation. We then received the "Exclusive... More

After walking around town I thought that Laja would be a good place to get a manicure and pedicure. The reception area was nice and I thought that it would probably be pricey but I figured it would be clean and luxurious. The service was pretty good, I received a nice massage and my nails done well, although there were... More

The spa was decently priced and the treatments were good, but being sent on your way without the opportunity to brush your hair or clean the oil off was a bit odd. Luckily I only had to walk a block with my hair sticking up and smelling like a well seasoned baked chicken.

We were hoping to get in for a same day appointment at the coveted Rosewood Spa with no avail. After seeing the reviews on Trip Advisor, we called Laja Spa and made an appointment for 3 individual massages for myself and my 2 friends. We each had the 80 min massage that was a bit less than US $100/person. It... More

This is a very nice spa. The staff is very friendly and they really seem to know what they're doing. I had two wonderful massages (among the best I've ever had) at this spa while I was in town, and I left feeling relaxed and happy. I highly recommend them.

I got the "spa pedicure" here and while it was a pleasant and welcoming experience, it was wayyy overpriced for what I got! The "massage" lasts for about a minute on each foot. If money is no object than by all means go here but there are probably much better deals to be had. At home in the States I... More

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa de Sierra Nevada as part of an educational trip as a luxury travel advisor. I will use Casa de Sierra Nevada and it's wonderful spa, Laja, when designing trips through the Bajio. Laja Spa is located down the block from the main building of Casa de Sierra Nevada, on a colorful,... More

If I could put this place in my pocket, I would. From the decor to the smells to the kind and gentle service, Laja Spa is top-notch. Our massages left us feeling so refreshed and ready to explore even more of beautiful San Miguel. I highly recommend them!

An inviting entryway leading to a pleasantly scented waiting area beckons visitors inside the Laja Spa. The staff speak English, are incredibly accommodating and exude an easy, relaxing personality. My family was in San Miguel de Allende for one week. I was fortunate to receive 3 massages which easily were the best I have ever had. The therapist herself was... More
