Five women friends toured Guanajuato together and then returned to San Miguel by the mountain roads with Helene Kahn. Her tour company is called "Just when you think you have seen it all" is a great name and we now know why. Helene's knowledge of the area and the history is thorough as well as fun. Try her and you... More

We were very fortunate to find Helene before we arrived in Mexico City. She helped us with the information we needed to get from the Cooking School we attended to Queretero where she met us outside the bus station and transported us to San Miguel de Allende. The next day we went on a wonderful walking tour and learned so... More

A few days ago a couple of friends from New York came to visit me at my house in San Miguel. The highlights of our wonderful week together were our two tours with Helene, one to Guanajuato and the other to Atotonilco. The first day Helene picked us up in her extraordinarily comfortable large van, filled us in on information... More

Helene gave us an excellent tour of sites in and around San Miguel de Allende. She was knowledgeable without being pompous or patronizing. Thanks to her I know all about Mexican Catholicism and the country's history of revolutions. The whole region was much less foreign after that tour. I'll definitely be back, and I'll definitely call Helene for another tour! More

Helene Kahn picked us up at our vacation rental in San Miguel de Allende and drove us to Guanajuato, with a great initial view from an overlook over the city. Then she drove us thru the famous tunnels and dropped us off in the heart of this 450-year-old silver mining town while she parked her comfortable van in a parking... More

In min-January 2011 I took a day trip out of San Miguel with Helene to Delores Hildago and Mineal de Pozos. Helene is a great conversationalist and our back-and-forth was stimulating...she has been in San Miguel for years and knows almost everything....or if she doesn't she says so. She will give you all the history you want, but also current... More

Our group of six "mature" adults were led on a 2.5 hour walking tour of central San Miguel and an 8+ hour trip to Guanajuato and Dolores Hidalgo. Both were outstanding! Helene is extremely well versed on the history and culture of central Mexico and the role of Spain and the Catholic Church in its development. She is personable, energetic... More

Helene Kahn’s “And You Thought You’d Seen Everything…!” tours of San Miguel, Guanajuato and beyond is everything you could want in a personalized tour. This is not a “canned” tour. Ours was well planned, tightly packed, yet completely flexible. As the four of us set off with Helene, she took the time to learn who we were and what we... More

I would like to comment on the negative reviews of tours in San Miguel by Helene Kahn. We arrived in San Miguel around Christmas of 2008. We found Helene Kahn from a posted notice. We did a family (all adults) walking tour of San Miguel and enjoyed her tour. We subsequently took other tours, day trips in the surrounding area... More
