Excellent place to have a walk outside of the crowded downtown. Very well maintained by the local government. Don´t forget to take a look to the "lavaderos" where poor locals go to handwash their loundry, getting free water from a fountain coming from a natural source up in the mountain where San Miguel de Allende was first settled.

I love Parque Juarez, an oasis of peace, shade and coolness in the middle of San Miguel. There is always something going on here, whether it's yoga in the morning, basketball games, music, wedding receptions. A children's park is right off the Aldama entrance and there are always well behaved happy kids and parents taking advantage of the swings etc.... More

Walked through the park on a Saturday morning. The artists were displaying their art, children were playing and both locals and visitors were enjoying the scenery, food, and the morning, including the belly dancers.

A nice respite from the very busy Jardin the happening square. The Parc Jaurez is a lovely place to walk around or just sit peacefully.

We happened upon a small healing arts festival. The park is beautiful and it is an easy walk to the Chorro from there. It is also convenient to some beautiful hotels and places to dine.

A lovely park minutes from the centre of San Miguel. Great for the kids with walking paths, exercise machines, a children playground, fountains, and two basketball courts. There is an art walk every weekend with art displays from local artists.

This is a great place to go on a hot day - nice walking areas - wonderful shady spots to sit and talk. Lots of beautiful flowers. Bridges, little streams, kids play areas. It's amazing how much time you can spend here - doing nothing.

Nice place to walk thru and cool off on a hot afternoon. Well maintained but easy to get lost in. Good place to take kids.

This is like a cool jungle in the middle of the city. Relaxing to walk through the shady trails and see the flowers under the trees. There are fountains and some work out stuff so you can jog and stop and do an exercise. Many weekends artists display their paintings. My fav park in SMA

A lovely and quiet oasis in SMA, for walking, sitting, reading, even working out (there is public equipment). Art shows and sales on weekends. Getting a renovation, and it's wonderful.
