Our personal tour guide took us to the area of the city that is gorgeous. It borders on Juarez Park which I only saw in passing unfortunately ...but what I did see was quite beautiful ..the other side of this very steep road, were perched beautiful haciendas with walls bathed in every bougainvillea of every color. Each hacienda fronted with... More

In a city full of cobblestone and stucco, this time of year it can get quite warm. Juarez Park is a delightful escape from the heat. It is like a forrest in the midst of a concrete city. It is quiet, shady and surrounded by lovely homes. A place to just sit and relax and enjoy it's soothing atmosphere.

Fantastic place to go for a morning stroll and enjoy all the beautiful sites of this lovely park. I always enjoy watching the Zumba class on Saturday morning, what energy they have.

Not too far from centro, but still quiet and relaxing. Some interesting wood carving/sculptures scattered around the garden.

Juarez Park on a Saturday and a weekday. It's important to walk through this park at different times. On weekends there is often art in the park, music, entertainment for children, lots of families out and about. During the week it's quieter and a wonderful place to take a stroll or just sent on a bench and listen to the... More

I love walking through this park. The paths are curved and each turn brings new vistas. Kids on a playground, teens playing basketball, lovers trading kisses and artists showing their work. Great place to see real people enjoying their day.

it was fun to see people shopping for flowers and plants during this annual garden event. I wish we could have bought some plants. It was nice to see residents and locals; i like to do untourist sites like this if its convenient.

This is a neighborhood gem of a park. You'll see local lovers cuddled together, older people walking alone or with a friend, dogwalkers, dogs getting to know each other, exercisers using parcourse equipment, kids playing and people relaxing. Up at one end there are women washing clothes, and a winding street up to a cultural center.

right in the center of town. Great kids park. Nice paths and very old trees. In February there is the plant and flower fair going on in the park. Also at the eastern end of the park, artists expose their work.

Primarily for residents there to buy plantings for their home. Nice green space., but like any large garden supplier anywhere.
