We went to Habla Hispana for the last 2 weeks of a four week session. Everything about the school was well-organized, and our instructor was really helpful to get us caught up with the rest of the class. I would say the grammar instruction was particularly outstanding, but the whole program was very well planned and executed. At the time... More

This is my second time at Habla HIspana and I think it's a superb school. As a former professor I appreciate the excellence of the teaching. All of the teachers reach out to each student to help every one advance to the best of his or her ability. Small classes allow serious instruction combined with great humor to keep instruction... As a former English language teacher in two countries, I have my own views on foreign language teaching. This is an excellent Spanish school that balances the practical and the academic aspects of language learning. Both verb conjugations and free form conversation are taught during every four hour class session. The teachers I had were all strong and helpful. Reports... More

I have been to 5 language schools in Mexico and this is one of the top 2. The teachers are excellent. They are able to add great understanding of the language - culturally and historically - while teaching and helping students improve. There is a good balance between presenting new information and providing opportunities in the class room to practice... More

I started in the intermediate class with about seven students total. I was unhappy with the teacher who went off on tangents and had an arrogant attitude. I spoke to the director who was very understanding and I was able to switch to individual lessons. My instructor, Marta, for the individual lessons was excellent and I learned a lot. I... More

Did a terrific 3-week program for beginners at this lovely school. The director Angelica is so professional and accommodating and my teacher was terrific. I had from 1-3 other students in my class and it was an excellent beginning in Spanish. The other students were from all over and everyone was very friendly and interesting. I did a home stay... I've been reluctant to review this special place. Been here 3 times and the teachers are so good. The residence was for me awesome. Personal space is large which is what matters to me as there are a zillion great restaurants nearby. Yes the oven didn't work and they no longer supply the water. But the fridge is huge! The... My husband and I both have very demanding jobs and we managed to both take sabbaticals at the same time so we can learn to speak Spanish fluently, each to support our work and become more relevant in our local community. We searched many, many, places and schools, and picked the Instituto Habla Hispana and I am so glad we... More

My husband and I had a great experience at the school! We really enjoyed Socorro for our main teacher, made it really fun! We would go back again and probably also stay at the school. The living quarters looked lovely.

We chose Habla Hispana for our week's study in San Miguel in Feb 2014 based on positive TripAdvisor reviews and weren't disappointed! Classes begin the first week of the month but we didn't arrive until the beginning of the 4th week. No problema! Our language skills were quickly assessed and we were placed in classes. I felt a bit over... More
