Every now and again you come across a truly gifted teacher. I was fortunate to cross paths with Sucoro at Habla Hispana. I had taken some Spanish lessons at another school. I had become quite expert at completing grammatical exercises and increasing my vocabulary but I felt like a deer in headlights whenever anybody spoke to me in Spanish. That... More

This was our second time to study at Habla Hispana. Last year my sister and I came for a week and took private lessons with different teachers, as we were at different levels. Because of our wonderful experience, we decided to return for 3 weeks this year and be part of a class at Habla Hispana. I have been studying... More

This is a great place to learn Spanish. It seems to be excellent for university students as they make arrangements for students to reside with families. The students learn so much more that way.

You can't go wrong with this school(Martha and Tere). I am a Mexican native raised in the U.S. And needed to learn about my culture and brush up on my Spanish. Martha and Tere helped me with all of what I needed. The school didn't put up any barriers like the other Spanish school, they were so helpful and easy... More

I have studied at several Spanish schools over the years, including three in SMA. Habla Hispana is by far the best. The teachers have lots of training and education. While you'll have one primary teacher, depending upon the level you're placed into, the daily schedule also includes conversation hours with the other teachers, so you have the benefit of lots... The wonderful folks at Habla have enriched my Spanish studies off and on for over 10 years now. Since I live in San Miguel I take advantage of private classes with Martha now. But early in our lives here my husband and I took group classes to get us talking with the basics. So one can start with the basics... More

I learned so much at Habla Hispana in just a few short weeks. The instructors were extremely helpful and I learned so many small nuances of the language I could not have learned otherwise. Truly a great experience!

In a very short time, my Spanish improved a lot. My teacher was excellent at explaining difficult grammatical concepts, and was able to initiate interesting conversations in which e would be forced to use the skills e had practiced. I really enjoyed how class often didn't feel like class, but rather felt like a fun conversation with my friends and... More

I am so glad I got the opportunity to attend the Habla HIspana language school for 3 weeks. I have studied Spanish for a very long time, but I have learned more in my 3 weeks at Habla Hispana than I did in any classroom in the U.S. They emphasized grammar in the speaking context, and all of the exercises... Great school with great teachers. The cooking classes and walking tours are awesome and enlightening, but beware of the 'cantando' class. You don't actually sing. Other than that, everything is awesome. A great place for anyone to learn Spanish.
