I wasn't expecting much, so I was pleasantly surprised at how lovely this "Park" setting hot springs was. Of course it was fun to go to through the tunnel and into the grotto. My husband could have stayed in there for an hour, but it was a little too steamy for me to stay more than about 15 minutes. My... More

This is an ideal place to spend three hours relaxing in water from hot springs or relaxing at poolside in or out of the sun. La Gruta is clean and safe. Drinks and various foods are available from waiters who are ready to serve you anywhere on the site except, of course, inside the dome, which features the warmest of... More

I love water and this little spot has cozy hot pools as well as a cave . There is a pool side bar and it is a excellant way to relax in the hot afternoon.

This is a fabulous hot spring adventure, climb into the beautiful clear blue water and then enter the tunnel into the cave. The water is so beautiful and wait until the hot water gushes out of the pipe wedged into the rocks. This is amazing!! Surroundings are very nice, you can sit and have a snack and drink and enjoy... La Gruta was a closer cab ride from our hotel, the entrance fee was 11 pesos, the food and service were excellent, and the 50 peso lock deposit was refundable. El Escondido was farther away, WAY more expensive (100 pesos each), HUGE to get around in, terrible restaurant (sorry, we are out of fruit and only have Nescafe coffee), and... More

Well managed, clean multi pool operation amid very nice gardens. Good food and very good drinks available at reasonable prices with good service. Nice way to spend a day or afternoon. Arrange for cab to pick up at designated time.

I absolutely recommend this place. The water so delightful, the surroundings are lovely, the staff are very pleasant, the food is great. What a wonderful place to spend a day. I highly recommend topping off your day with a massage. The masseuse is world class and it's really good value.
