Take a day and relax in the hot springs! So relaxing. They also have messages they offer at a great price and its worth it. They do a really nice job

We visited on a very quiet mid-week day. The pools were inviting the 'gruta' grotto warm and relaxing. Very different from the town visits.

During the week thi is a valuable place to check out. But, don't expect "hot". The pools are warm. The best thing for me was meeting so many others people looking to relax. The Mexican people I met here wanted to try to communicate as long as I was willing, which I was and had so much fun, talking, making... More

We had a fine visit after our bike ride with bici burro... the facility is very clean... the waters hot... and the design of the pools interesting and engaging. We also had a reasonably priced and tasty lunch of fajitas

A really nice place to go and relax in hot springs. The food is excellent and moderately priced, too.

The beautiful turquoise from the copper kept us in the hot springs for a couple of hours and the sense of healing was enhanced by how smooth our skin was afterwards. The long... More

This was my first experience at a public bath and it was definitely everything I ever imagined it would be (visualize the Roman period, eating, drinking and bathing together). There was pool-side service and the pounding stream of hot water was simply amazing- just what I needed after a day of horseback riding! I highly recommend La Gruta to anyone... More

A great soak for the muscles after days of walking the hills of San Miguel, but go early! The crowds in the afternoon made it difficult to relax.

How can you argue with a beautifully landscaped hot spring - the swimming is amazing, and when you're tired you can get a beer and a shrimp cocktail! I love La Gruta!
