Nice way to spend the day! This is a short distance from town, the grounds are well kept and offer lounge chairs, bar patio, 4 pools (not all are filled during the week), lockers, and showers. The service and food are good. Go early in the day when the pools are being filled to get the maximum benefits from the... More

Not much to add to previous reviews, but little restaurant/bar was great, they even had the world cup soccer on. Very quiet the day we were there, very nicely done grounds and pools.

We got a cab in San Miguel and took it to La Gruta. Following the advice of other folks on Trip Advisor, we asked the driver to return for us at an appointed time. I was unclear about what to bring, so here's some advice: bring a towel, flip flops, bathing suit, sun block. Once you get to La Gruta,... More

A relaxing way to spend the day. A quick cab ride from downtown San Miguel de Allende. Stand in line to soak under the hot spring in the grotto. Beautiful, relaxing, refreshing!!

The hot springs were a great diversion during our busy week. Everyone in our group enjoyed the therapeutic effect the springs had on our weary feet and legs. Lunch was good and the service was friendly. This is a great place to recharge your batteries.

This is a lovely place to spend the afternoon or even all day. There is a large pool, a lovely garden and a small restaurant, But the most fabulous features are the natural hot springs, set in cut rock pools and a cave with a hot water waterfall. Gorgeous

My friends and I love visiting La Gruta! Entrance fee is only $110 pesos (about $10 USD). Lockers require a $50 peso deposit that you will be returned (definitely get a locker so you can roam without carrying all your belongings!). All the pools are pretty warm, but the range from mildly warm to very warm. The grotto area is... More
