Built over 50 years it is the center of San Miguel. Beautiful and imposing the church is also the center of activities with weddings and bell ringing all day long.

You can see this church from almost anywhere in town, so it draws you to it. It is the center of this beautiful city! Please go look at this beautiful church and then sit across the street at the beautiful park and enjoy people watching and the majestic Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel.

Seeing this magnificent cathedral the adjacent church in combination with the equally delightful Jardin Allende across from the cathedral are worth the trip to San Miguel de Allende all by themselves. All the rest of the amazing attractions in the area are a bonus. My wife and I are seriously considering pursing a second home there.

The color of the stone make this a standout to see; but don't forget to look at the architecture. I saw this church mornings, afternoons and evenings and from every street view possible, including the park from on high and the road way from on higher. What threw me my first evening visit was that it was light up. That... More

Rising above all, the Parroquia is the (!) center of this beautiful city. And the adjoining park makes this the place to visit time and again and any time during your stay. Be sure and stay for the bells. Unforgetable!

While in San Miguel, the architecture and history is important to enjoy. Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel is one of the "must see" stops that is very rich in history and culture.

I loved the Gaudi style. Beautiful in pink and at night with lights. Standard Cathedral stuff on the inside. Not the most thrilling.

If you are interested in colonial architecture, San Miguel de Allende is the place for you. The town is preserved in its original condition and the Perroquia is a one=of-a-kind structure. Part Gothic part Disney. A fairy could be living in the upper most tier. A historic center of the revolution San Miguel is special for its holiday parades. Checik... More

Probably one of the most beautiful churches in the world, it is right in the center of town and always worthy of a visit. Outdoors, between the Parroquia and the Jardin, there are many different staged musical events funded by the city and state throughout all times of the year, mostly in the evening that include staging, lights and sound....
