One of the most unusual churches in the world. it has a long name, but is like no other. Considering that the architect had never seen a gothic church, but worked from postcards, the resulting product, a kind of pseudo-gothic style church grafted onto the original colonial-style parish church is amazing and here lies its enchantment. Just sitting in the... More

The center of everything in San Miguel. Catch the weddings on Saturdays. There is a celebration almost every day.

The Parroquia is fun to just observe. On Saturdays the wedding processions are endless. If you are lucky you will spy a mojiganga or two milling around out front. The place lit up at night is magical. Its more enchanting than the castle at Disneyland!

This is an extremely nice church and the closest thing you'll get to a true Spanish church without a trip to Spain!

The Pro-nino group offers walking tours at 10am M/W/F in from of the Parroquia. Great way to start learning the history of SMA.

Early morning sunrise, sunset, or lit up at night the Parroquia is a beautiful church inside and out. It is located in the centre of San Miguel in the Jardin. The walking historical tour of San Miguel includes the Parroquia and explains it's history. Very interesting.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon/evening which corresponded to locals dancing and praying outside which was a phenomenal experience to be a part of the music and culture. Went back the next day to have a look inside and it was mind blowing. The architecture, colour and detail was spectacular as well as an amazing feel inside the building. A must... More

The Parroquia is open every day to ALL ....you can walk right in any time ....and on weekends there are weddings that you can watch from a bench in the Jardin. People have picnics, dances and parades here ...it is truly a "parish" church in every sense.
