If your staying for any length of time in San Miguel one will find ones self over and over passing by the Cathedral and through the Jardin Principal. Of course for the photographers first morning light and afternoon Alpen Glow will captivate you. Stop and smell the literal roses for this is the heart of San Miguel.

A wonderful photography opportunity since its breath taking in its beauty but its also the setting of non stop Sunday celebration. One dance ceremony after another, some traditional dress, some tribal,,,lots of vendors with balloons for the kids and great music!

As we sat in the park on Sunday morning listening to the service inside come to an end we were delighted to see several men approach the bells and begin forcefully bringing there sounds to life. Literally these guys were air born to make the bells toll - crazy! The church itself is so pink and covered in spires it's... More

This is a magical church and plaza. It's not called a cathedral as the town is too small to have a bishop which apparently is what qualifies a church for that title. Take the town "walk" put on by local experts so you get the whole story on the art and virgins and why St Patrick is celebrated in Mexican... More

The view from the park at dusk or at night is incredible! It is like a mini version of Barcelona's Sagrada Familia. I went once during the Holy Week, and it was a very impressive experience.

They've cleaned the surface and it's brighter and shinier. It was always beautiful, now it's more so. It kinda seems silly to review it since it's the most obvious thing in SMA and there's probably no way you're gonna miss it!
