The art is really wonderful, with everything from modern to antique, but it is definitely priced for well-heeled tourists. The galleries that I frequent in Mexico City have better prices than La Aurora...but even if you don't want to buy, it is well worth your time.

A great place to see working artists or to actually take a workshop and be one of the artists. I took a workshop in mixed media and in four very full days created cohesive mixed media pieces. Each member of the class had their own very distinctive style and vision but all created wonderful pieces which we discussed as the... More

What a delight! I was with a group of art lovers and we all wished we had more time here. An old textile factory remade into numerous art galleries and studios. Lots of garden accessories, jewelry, sculpture and paintings available for purchase. What a delight!!! Also, there is a really nice restaurant for lunch. One of my friends went back... More

The site of a former factory, the Fabrica has numerous high quality art galleries, artist studios, shops selling antiques, art objects, and Mexican home decor, as well as three different cafe/restaurants to eat at. Some of the art studios also offer art classes in weaving, drawing, and painting.

Fabrica La Aurora has many shops with home decorating ideas and local artists. I found looking at the art more enjoyable and especially like Merry Calderoni's work. They have several restaurants - we enjoyed a great hamburger at a place on the left as you enter the facility. It is an easy walk from town and worth an afternoon.....no one... More

A vision made true by the combined efforts of two couples : the owners and the first tenants when the idea was conceived . It is now a marvellous space ,a public space where people can come in and stroll through art galleries and designer shops ,have a coffee and pastries and the open air café or lunch and dinner... I celebrated the creative life at Fabrica La Aurora's January Anniversary Fiesta. The art of life, creativity and dancing was once again one of the reasons I make San Miguel my home.

Went to the annual anniversary party at the Fabrica. It exceed my expectations over and over. The art was amazing and diverse. The people watching was fun and the libations were more than adequate. If you are in SMA in late January don't miss it.
