Nice place to visit if you're into decor, but expensive and a bit pretentious. We entered an antique store where we may as well have been invisible, and several others who have galleries or shops acted as if we didn't belong. Other shops are more practical and friendly to visitors. I think this place would benefit from a few more... More

Beautiful venue a bit out of town. Huge and somewhat overwhelming. Charming cafe. Many art walks held there regularly, but beware if you are overwhelmed by crowds.

I've been three times to Aurora and now can't imagine a visit to SMA without dedicating at least a couple of hours there. The space is deceptively large and rambles on and on with some of the top local artists' work beautifully displayed. There are also more commercial home-decorator stores in the complex and prices are competitive but not bargain-priced.

Definitely one of my favorite place in all of San Miguel. La Aurora is close from the city center (walk 20 min or taxi 8 min) and it has some great galleries that range from photography to furniture antiques, from accessible art to really expensive. Anyways I even like the place to walk around, it's really worth a visit if... More

I am glad that they do something with these old factories. They turned this textile Factory into art galleries and there is even a bookstore. It is very clean and nice but the majority of the art is very expensive. In my opinión you can find much more beautiful art Works in the mercado

In SMA for more than a couple days? This is a must stop. There are a variety of quality stores along with a number of places to eat. When we revisit SMA this will certainly be a stop.

We ventured out to the Fabrica La Aurora not knowing what we would find. It is a very nice facility with two cafes. There is higher-end art, textiles, bronzes, antiques and ceramics. It was very clean and lovely to wander around. It took us several hours to get through all the shops. We ended up purchasing an oil painting from... More

San Miguel is known for all of it's amazing artists, and many of them make their home here at Fabrica La Aurora. Just outside of the city center, there are a ton of galleries, home furnishing shops and a cafe. Great place to see or buy art from local artists and craftsmen. It is definitely more pricey here than at... More

I go every time I visit San Miguel, always new things, always new artists. Always a new atelier with a new concept around. Art is priced at fare rates when you see the artist there, BUT BE WARE of the resellers. Try to contact the artist via facebook or email before you buy anything. Learnt this the hard way.

Multiple galleries with very high quality art including sculpture, paintings, fabrics, ect. Not a place for bargains but a place for sophisticated work.
