I don't actually know if this is a coop but it's like a shopping mall for actual artists. I saw so many items that I would have loved to take home. Each little shop has its own hours so don't go right when it opens because many of the shops aren't actually open. I really enjoyed my walk through. Friendly... More

We took several hours to work our way through this historic site that was converted into a great art gallery filled with artisans of every variety. Great place to spend a morning or afternoon enveloped in beautiful and creative pieces.

If you're visiting from the United States, don't bother with this place. It's just like a fancy mall from back home, with some beautiful but thoroughly familiar arts and crafts.

We spent the morning visiting this place. If you like original art, nice funiture, antiques and other stuff this is the place. Price ranges from reasonable to extremely expensive. They also have in the site two or three restaurants that look nice. We didnt have lunch there but the places were full. I guess the food was good.

This gallery is in an old cotton factory. That's what I liked best about it. The art is more contemporary and pricey.

a large fun place to visit on thursday when all of the shops and galleries are usually open ... restaurants, lots of browsing and unique items you won't see at the local shops in san miguel ... or have a coffee at the outside cafe and watch the day fly by ... it's fun and the owners are all friendly,... Sadly we got there late in the day and could only see half the galleries and stores before it closed. We intend to go back before we leave on this trip. The original art is everything I expected in a trip to a city famed for its artists. Thought provoking, beautiful, intelligent, competent are the words that come to mind.... More

A bit of a walk from the Main Gardens (or you could probably take a cab) was definitely worth it as we explored this amazing rescued factory with individual artist studios and exhibition spaces.
