Beautiful valley filled with rounded topped stone monoliths, some 15 to 20 meters tall. Really an amazing place with some incredible far off views, especially if you take a side trail up to the top of a plateau with views of the continental divide. Don't miss this - take a ATV there and see the other valleys and the lake. Amazing scenery! Try to spend time there walking and climbing around.

a tour from the town of Creel - Mexico is trying to promote this as a national park - a nice side tour

Be sure to take he short hike up to the top to see the San Miquel valley and the continental divide. The view is fantastic and the hike is not too far. It is at an elevTion of 8000 feet though.

It really looks like you are in another planet! It's far from the main road (10km) and not very easy to find, but you can take the car all the way and park it there, although you have to climb it (2min) to get the full picture.

This is one enchanting area -- from the verdant valley floor with its grazing cattle to the fantastic pillars and rock formations that warrant time to be still and listen. Easy tour near creel to go in an hour and take picture, you can do this trip mostly with the hotel that organizes.

This place is unbelievable! The rock formations are gigantic and the place is peaceful and tranquil. I'm so happy I got to see this amazing place.

This is a must if your hobby is photography. The rock formations of the elephant, the frogs and the mushrooms are so incredible they all look so real!

These are large rock formations , there are several valleys in that area like valley of the frogs ,valley of the monks ect they are located outside of Creel and form part of the Copper canyon in Sinaloa the area boasts quite a bit more then just these valleys but they are a must see part when visiting the area
