We enjoyed the experience of the train ride. We highly recommend El Fuerte to Chihuahua. Although not as dramatic, the scenery east of the canyon is beautiful and interesting. Canyon Travel put together a 5 day itinerary that was varied and interesting, in just a couple of days. Another company suggested we should book six months in advance, which is... More

A $700 USD deposit for a cancelled trip has not yet been returned despite on-going emails and promises. Still plan to do this trip, but NOT with Canyon Travel!

This person wanted a refund because of the currency difference between Canadian and US Dollars. She was offered the same trip for Canadian dollars and still has a credit with our company in US Dollars, and may use it any time she likes. We have since offered her all her money back provided she takes the negative review down, but... More

My wife and I plus two friends just returned from a trip to the Copper Canyon which we booked through Canyon Travel Tour. Excellent. We enjoyed the small lodges we stayed and various excursions. Any questions we had were quickly answered by Carla or Michael. They provided comprehensive travel info prior to the trip. I have traveled extensively in Mexico... More

We booked travel to El Fuerte, Bahuichivo/Cerocahui, Posada Barrancas, and Chihuahua. After quite a rocky start in communication with over 40 emails and a couple of phone calls, we decided to 'just do it' and see how the trip would go. It went well. This was definitely a trip for seasoned travelers, or those open to localize experiences. If you... More

I would recommend visiting the Copper Canyon to just about anyone who isn't absolutely terrified by spectacular vistas of the canyons. It's a place where you can walk right up to the edge of a precipice and look straight down 2000 feet or more. Canyon Travel Tour made the arrangements for our trip and everything went according to plan. We... More

Our tour with Copper Canyon Adventures in late March this year was a great trip with the personal touch that made it even more of a memorable experience. Our itinerary included Los Mochis, El Fuerte, Bahuichivo/Cerocahui, Posada Barrancas, and Chihuahua. The train ride on "El Chepe" is unforgettable and takes you through the breathtaking landscapes of the Copper Canyon. The... More

The prearranged Copper Canyon tour was perfect. We really appreciated English/Spanish tour guides, since we are totally non-Spanish speaking. Being a Group of two gave us much more flexibility than being in a large group; yet, we still enjoyed all of the perks: 1) great, prepaid food (just ask my waistline), 2) all transportation prearranged 3) lodging reserved, 4) knowledgeable... Recently, my wife and I booked a trip to the Copper Canyon with Canyon Travel. They were of great service with our itinerary and questions about what the canyons have to offer. We found an inexpensive trip to Cabo, so we spent a few days there before taking a one hour flight to the mainland. At the Los Mochis airport,... More

Though at first I thought Michael Mondini was a blow hard big mouth jerk. I listened to him and gave him my dreams to him and in the end he put it all together with perfection... it was a wonderful experience for my family and also for a 45 year old Dad looking for a little adventure. I was a... More

What a wonderful experience! Starting with Chal in El Fuerte to Mario at Urique Canyon to Maria at "the rim", we were treated to a very up-close-and-personal look at the real Mexico we wanted to see. We took the Western Canyon Explorer trip with Canyon Tours and were shown fascinating sights, served delicious foods and treated to very personal looks... More
