What an experience! Richie was a tremendous guide and the cenotes were stunning. I did 4 dives over 2 days in 2 different cenotes. Richie was well prepared, knowledgeable, and took the time to make sure I got the best experience I could with the time that I had. While I am an experienced cave diver, this was my first... More

My girlfriend and me (25,31) visited tulum in september 2014 and we got the recommendation to dive with the xibalba dive team. We did this and it was the best diving experience we made and though we are not very experienced we already saw some different dive centers all over the world. Xibalba is outstanding. They are professional diver to... More

We dived Dos Ojos Cenote with Xibalba and it was an excellent experience. The guide Paul was one of the best we have had and guided us through the differences in cavern diving very clearly - turns out he is a cave explorer and instructor. He made the whole experience very relaxed and easy, driving us there himself and buying... More

We visited Xibalba in Dec 2013 to do some cave diving and to make use of this excellent hotel. We found both Richie & Hiro to be super friendly, professional and helpful. These guys made us feel part of the family. Daily breakfast was great and staff warm and welcoming. The facilities at Xibalba made our stay there most enjoyable... More

We travelled December 2013. This was our 5th time using the dive centre for tank rentals and air fills. Great service and information. They have rooms on site also. Storage areas for gear on site. It is not easy to get cave location information and they will provide it but will also provide training and guiding if required.

If you are going to dive or take a PADI dive course while in the Tulum area, this is the place you have to go. The owners and instructors are taking their job very seriously, and they are surprisingly professional. We thought this was going to be a sort of cheap asian-style course, but we were proved wrong. The place... More

This was our first and only experience with cavern diving. Richie was terrific, offering great information, concern for our safety, sensitivity to our concerns. He was exceptionally accommodating of our desire to do 3 dives in a single day, and brought all sorts of back-up equipment to be sure we were comfortable. The dives, to the Pit and Dos Ojos,... Xibalba was a great place to be based for a fantastic week exploring the cenotes and caves around Tulum. Good standard of accommodation and great support from the dive centre team. Tulum is a nice place to hang out after a dive too, with some nice bars and restuarants by the sea.

I dove with The Pit and Dos Ojos with Hairo. First of the all the dive sites are amazing. The cenotes are still some of the most spectacular dive sites I have been to. Hairo was a great guide. He was knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire day. What made this shop stand above the rest is their final response... More
