We had a couples massage on the beach from the Spa at Casitas and then had a neck, back and shoulder massage at the spa at Generations and both were so good we came out relaxed and feeling much better.

I had a wonderfully relaxing visit here. I went to the early morning yoga sessions and the yoga teachers were excellent.

We were recommended to go here for drop in yoga classes even though were staying in another place (Zamas). The environment is very tranquil and the yoga teachers were excellent - especially Joanne. We went to classes in the early evening which was a great time of day. Nice shop with some yoga gear at the hotel and some great... More

Stopped here to check it out a couple of years ago and this time didn't want to leave without trying it....OMG!!! it was heaven. How bad can it be when you are wrapped like a human chocolate bar with the sea breeze and smell of the ocean....as well as the sound of waves breaking just below your feet. Had the... More

I found Maya Spa through TA and thought that that massages sounded like a fun and relaxing activity for our last afternoon in Tulum. The most recent review with prices stated that a 60 minute wrap was $82 (May 2014), so I was quite surprised when we were quoted $110 for the 60 minute Mayan clay wrap!! In the end,... More

This place is truly the most zen spot. I had a 90 min massage in a wood hut with an open patio deck that drops off to the ocean. The massage was deliciously relaxing with the ocean breeze gently blowing as well as the sound of the waves crashing below the deck. It was so relaxing that I fell asleep... More

My wife and I got body wraps -- she the chocolate and I the Mayan clay. Ninety minutes of bliss. We were led to a cabana on the cliff overlooking the waves. This is the ultimate massage on the beach. The combination of the sound of the waves, the smell of the chocolate, and the touch of the skilled masseuses... More

I cannot say enough about the massage at Mayan Clay Spa & Bathhouse. It was so amazing and honestly, I felt so lucky to have had the opportunity to do it. It was a once in a lifetime experience- being in the jungle with the sounds of the birds and the breeze, in a large screened hut, receiving a therapeutic... More

I don't recall how I stumbled upon the Mayan Clay Spa website - as if something drew me there. Even after our massage, owner Maria asked me how I came upon them ... I couldn't recall. A google search? I told her tripadvisor, but i don't think that was it. No matter. I mention the reservation process because I really... More
