Xel Ha was the last on my long list of Mayan Riviera tour priorities... having spent a perfect day there, I would put it on the top of yours. My eight-year-old daughter and I loved Xel Ha. It is spectacularly beautiful and there is a lot to do. We loved the biking, the lazy river tube float, jumping off the... more

We were undecided as to whether we should visit Xel-ha or Xcaret on our recent trip to the Riviera Maya. After some deliberation and suggestions froms friends we choose Xel-ha. We and our boys, ages 15, 13, and 12 thouroughly enjoyed the day there. Well worth the price. Admission ticket includes all you can eat and drink all day (great... more

My husband & I took a day trip to Xel Ha. We booked our day trip with the Sunquest rep at our hotel. The transportation was well organized & our guide spoke 5 languages, so everybody was catered for. The park itself is fabulous. 'All inclusive' means just that, we didn't have to pay for anything whilst we were there.... more

Let me set this up for you. My parents are Exotic Travel Club members and the immediate family was staying at the all-inclusive El Dorado Royale on the Maya Riviera to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. We decided to take an excursion to Xel-Ha. It was arranged by the concierge at the hotel, who took care of everything. We... more

I do not understand how this tourist trap could be rated so highly among visitors. It's advertised as a beautiful, protected area. But I felt like the natural beauty that may have once existed has been killed by too much tourism. I found that a fair amount of our time was wasted trying to get from one place to another,... more

We did the all-inclusive tour of Xel-Ha and Tulum while in Cancun. Transportation, admission, food, and drinks were included. Xel-Ha is a beautiful lagoon where you can snorkel, swim, relax on the lazy river, swim with dolphins, and explore caves. There are a few restaurants on-site that offer buffet-style service and a few bars as well featuring a number of... more

Xel-ha was absolutly fabulous! After much debate over which site to see, we chose this one, and I am so happy we did!!! We wandered throughout the property, as well as went in the lazy river, and went snorkeling- it was an excellent time! I am absolutly terrified of fish, but still enjoyed the adventure! The site had lots of... more

We took our boys ages 9 and 11 for a day trip with Tulum. We researched and decided to book a PRIVATE DRIVER rather than the bus pick-up.. It was only about $50.00 more total through entertainment-plus and was WELL WORTH IT! We didn't want to be on a bus that stops at every resort on the strip to pick... more

Under the impression (from my travel guide) that this park was $33, I took a colectivo from Tulum, looking forward to some great snorkeling. When I got to the window, I found out the price had risen to an outrageous $75. But I was already there, and had nothing else planned for the day. Since I went in the afternoon,... more
