I set up dives at 2 cenotes over email, and Helene was great and super responsive. She answered all my questions, and putting the deposit down via PayPal was also seamless. My husband and I are both PADI open water certified but we barely get opportunities to dive, so we're still novices. We ended up diving with an advanced couple,... More

Hello I am the guide of the last revewer "poytrpiper" and I am sorry he got disappointed but I have to clearify him some point I don't agree. First of all I have to remind him something he doesn't mention : he was not a single diver, and the time of dives as he knows as a certified diver depends... More

This dive shop was very easy to book and informative during the drives and dives. I booked a refresher course since it was 6 years since my last dive and two Cenote dives. Helene and Nikolas were very helpful the entire time! Due to the unusual rain this week, we decided to do the refresher course and a second dive... More

We did the Pit and Dos Ojos cenotes. I felt completely safe and in good hands with Jordi, our dive guide. However considering the time it to took to get to the dive site, and the beauty of the cenotes, I would have liked to spend some more time in the water. The first dive was deep (to 116 ft),... More

Thank you for this useful feedback. Divings normally last about 35-50 minutes depending on each diver's level and the diving spots. We'll have a serious chat with this guide to avoid this to happen again. Sorry for that. More

We dived two cenotes with Calypso and as first time cavern divers (though experienced open water divers), we had a wonderful time. Neither of us are fans of tight spaces but the advice given by Hélène was absolutely spot on and her attention from the first email was reassuring. If you have any queries about what cavern diving involves or... More

Booking with Helene was easy and friendly. She was patient and worked with us through the whole process and even took the time to confirm with us shortly before our trip. We had Brenda as our guide to two cenotes: Casa and Dos Ojos. Brenda was warm, friendly, and accommodating. As a new diver, I was hesitant to try out... More

Safe and professional outfit. Myself, an advanced diver and my boyfriend, dive master, were both satisfied with the business. Gear was all in functional and safe condition. We dove Casa Cenotes and Dos Ojos, both great dives. Tips - we decided to do a walk in, which was fine but we struggled to find the location from the street. Nico... More

We really enjoyed our snorkel outing with this company! Our guide was incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and patient. We got our gear in Tulum then drove about 30 minutes to the "pet cemetery" cenote. This particular cenote has a ton of stalactites and a very low ceiling with long twisting passageways. And bats! I think we would have been a... More

We did 2 grand cenote and dos ojos (barbie line) recently and it was incredible. Would recommend dos ojos more personally due to the beauty, colours, dive route and lack of snorkellers. Having never dived in cenote's it was very much 'other-worldly'. 80m visibility down there was amaxing. The dive tuition from Brenda was excellent and the company were very... More

My wife and I went to Dos Ojos with Nicolas, who knows the cenote like the back of his hand. His experience allowed us to enjoy the trip and the incredible views without worrying about the technical stuff. It really was a memorable outing. I heartily recommend La Calypso.
