I traveled to Playa del Carmen with my 3 children (6, 12, 13) and mother in February. We wanted to explore Sian Ka'an but hadn't made advance arrangements. We were able to easily book this tour in a short time-frame. And, I'm so glad we did! I can't say enough about how wonderful this tour was - the location is... More

Aldo did a great job. He's very knowledgeable about the wildlife and history of Sian Kan'an and an all around good guy. My husband and I enjoyed spending time on his little boat. The snorkeling was fun, but my favorite part was floating down the ancient canal. So peaceful! We barely saw anyone while we were out in the reserve.... More

Aldo's tours in Sian Ka'an are unlike most in Riviera Maya. Most tours cram as many people in as possible, making for a less than desirable experience to say the least. Aldo's tours have very limited space, in fact, it was just my wife and I when we toured the Mayan Canals and Muyil Ruins. Gliding through the mangrove canals... More

Aldo is awesome and Sian Ka'an is gorgeous. Highly recommended. We had signed up for a snorkeling tour, but conditions were poor due to wind, so everyone on board agreed we should focus more on wildlife watching. Aldo was totally cool with this, and proceeded to take us on an all-day tour inside the Sian Ka'an preserve. We saw manatees,... More

We just spent the day touring Sian Ka'an. Our guide was Aldo Ancona. What a truly amazing day with a charming patron of this beautiful place. First a quick run down of what we did - we hopped in Aldo's boat and saw manatee, crocodile, at least 15 types of birds, then went snorkeling, ate mango, traveled up the Mayan... More

Our group of six booked the Mayan Reef Snorkel Tour with Aldo, and were really glad that we did! Our friend booked it and said that he was easy to work with, responded quickly to email, and his directions and instructions for meeting were clear, concise, and easy to follow. Very professional. We all met early in the morning to... More

My wife and I had a private tour with the excellent tour guide, Bamby. This is why we loved it: -The biosphere is a very special and beautiful place. The wildlife was spectacular, we saw manatees, birds (osprey's, blue herons, etc.) and beautiful schools of fish when snorkeling. -We didn't see another person during the entire tour. This was a... Amazing place you will ever visit in your life. You wll need a whole day to explore. you should go all the way down to Punta Allen, whiere you can buy fresh lobsters from local fisherman. Go to Cesak cabins and see the views of the lagoon and the ocean from their tower. if you stay over night in July... More

Aldo was magnificent. Whether piloting our boat through the canals of the Sian Ka'an, picking out the best stretch of coral reef to snorkel, or answering questions about the flora and fauna of this must-see jewel, Aldo was master of the occasion. My wife, daughter, and I spent a day in June 2014 with Aldo, the proprietor of 'Visit Sian... More
