Our group of six booked the Mayan Reef Snorkel Tour with Aldo, and were really glad that we did! Our friend booked it and said that he was easy to work with, responded quickly to email, and his directions and instructions for meeting were clear, concise, and easy to follow. Very professional. We all met early in the morning to... More

My wife and I had a private tour with the excellent tour guide, Bamby. This is why we loved it: -The biosphere is a very special and beautiful place. The wildlife was spectacular, we saw manatees, birds (osprey's, blue herons, etc.) and beautiful schools of fish when snorkeling. -We didn't see another person during the entire tour. This was a... Amazing place you will ever visit in your life. You wll need a whole day to explore. you should go all the way down to Punta Allen, whiere you can buy fresh lobsters from local fisherman. Go to Cesak cabins and see the views of the lagoon and the ocean from their tower. if you stay over night in July... More

Aldo was magnificent. Whether piloting our boat through the canals of the Sian Ka'an, picking out the best stretch of coral reef to snorkel, or answering questions about the flora and fauna of this must-see jewel, Aldo was master of the occasion. My wife, daughter, and I spent a day in June 2014 with Aldo, the proprietor of 'Visit Sian... More

I did quite a bit of research to conclude this was the best of the tours to sian kaan biosphere and was not wrong or disappointed. we saw, manatee, cenotes under the lagoon, crocs, pelicans, many birds - we just kept seeing so many beautiful things and species, it was like tick tick tick on the bucket list. we loved... My husband and I booked a nature tour with Visit Sian Ka'an and it was great! Aldo was our guide and he was super knowledgable about the area and everything we saw. He even found us several crocodiles! The relaxing float down the canal was the best part of the trip - except for the Yucutan-style tomales that Aldo brought... More

Kudos for Aldo, our guide through Sian Ka'an. He limits his tours to 6 people (ours was just our family, 4) which makes it very intimate and educational. We were picked up at our hotel (on time) and taken to his boat on the reserve. Aldo is a native of the area and has great knowledge and perspective of the... More

Our wedding party stayed at Casa Maya Kaan in the Sian Kaan Biosphere and the wedding and reception for 47 was at the house. It is beautiful in the Biosphere and highly recommended a trip there. Barracuda and crabs were caught on the jungle side and cooked by our local chef. Fabulous!

The very long and extremely bumpy road to Punta Allen is worth it - Beautiful mangroves and birds - saw a few turtles and best snorkeling in Riviera Maya - great reef and many, many colorful fish
