My boyfriend and I took the PADI open water certificate with Marina from Scuba Tulum, and we had such a great time! Marina was very patient and we got a lot of individual attention plus our first dive was in a nearby cenote instead of in a pool - really cool way to be introduced to diving. We did most... More

Easy, friendly & fast scheduling. The shop owner/mgr was very straight forward and did not push for prices. I wish I could think of the shop owner's name, but either way he is a cool Swiss dude. Definitely did not feel any vibes of arrogance or ego like so many dive shops exude. Another plus is that they didn't slam... More

Couldnt recommend scuba tulum highly enough. I was put in touch with the ultimate one, rubi, one of the dive leads. Rubi couldn't have been a nicer guy. Very sociable, funny and helpful. I had two days in tulum and with 2 days notice he was able to arrange two days of cave diving at the 4 different cenotes I... More

I did my PADI open water course with Scuba Tulum, and I would definitely recommend it! Marina is a very friendly, calm, and skilled dive instructor. She gives you a lot of personal attention to see how you are doing underwater, and immediately makes you feel very secure. In fact, some of the dives I was alone with Marina, so... More

Had a great time diving dos ojos with Rubiel. The dives were great, and Rubiel was a safe, confident guide with a great sense of humour. Highly recommended.

Dos Ojos for two dives was spectacular and everything was well-organised. Rubiel was a great guide - excellent English and everyone had a blast.

I dove 2 days in the cenotes in Tulum. One day with another outfit and one day with Rubi at Scuba Tulum. This was by far the best experience. Rubi was great and highly accommodative to anything I wanted to ask or see. He's got a great sense of humor to make you feel at ease. Granted this was in... More

I wound up doing 3 out of 4 days with Scuba Tulum. It was quite a difference, in terms of price (the other shop included cenote entrance fees but there was quite a markup, and no lunch) and service. Carlos and Rubi also took the time to check my set-up without my having to ask (the other place got snippy... More

Had an amazing day scuba diving going through the cenotes! Ruby was an excellent guide who was extremely knowledgable about the dive sites and was great company throughout the day!! The pit was one of the most exciting dives I have ever done and would recommend to all advanced and above divers!!!
