Extreme Control Kitesurfing, Kiteboarding and Paddleboarding School Tulum has been the first Professional Kiteboard School in Tulum operating since 2004 and offering top quality service to students from all over the globe. Their main school is located at Playa Paraiso, just south of the Mayan Ruins, where you will find the flattest waters in Tulum and open stretches of white beaches. The side onshore winds and warm Caribbean create an ideal environment to learn or improve your kiteboarding skills. Their team of instructors are expert kiteboarders, IKO Certified and multilingual with over 5 years experience teaching and riding. Extreme Control is the first school in Tulum teaching with the Short Line Method and Radio Helmet, where the use of 5 meter lines helps students learn how to pilot the kite without full power and the Radio Helmets helps the student to be in contact with the instructor all the time, making the learning process safer, faster and more fun! With this method, the majority of the students are able to independently fly the kite in 6 hours! Summer and Fall are great months to go Stand Up Paddleboarding in Tulum where you can enjoy an amazing paddl. I just did 3 days of lessons at Extreme Control in Tulum and loved it. Marco the owner is very gregarious and a fun atmosphere prevails. My instructor was Ale. Both are from Italy.

Ho fatto Kite, con la mia attrezzatura, 4/5 volte sulla spiaggia dove è situata la scuola.. sembrava quasi gli dessi fastidio, alla fine mi hanno pure rubato un boma da 300 euro, dopo aver chiesto all'istruttore, Marco, se l'avesse per caso visto ha avuto pure il coraggio di dirmi che se volevo potevo noleggiarne uno, dopo che me l'hanno fatto...

I had a great time with Marco and his Team doing my first Kite boarding lessons. Thanks to Lee for showing me the basics! I learned a lot and will definitely continue, next time hopefully with a little more wind! The equpiment was in excellent conditions; safety and teaching standards were top notch.
