We took the World Wonder Tour with our guide Salvador and had a great time. Salvador was very knowledgable about Mayan history and did a great job of putting Chichen Itza in context. After a very good overview of the Mayan ruins we went to a Cenote to cool off. Best part of the trip swimming in the cool water... More

It was hard to decide which tour - the Punta Laguna Nature Reserve and Coba Tour or the Muyil Floating Tour and we chose the Muyil Floating Tour. Our guide picked us up on route on time, and then drove to Muyil, talking along the way. There were only four of us in the van. We went through the Muyil... More

Our fantastic tour guide Martine was a font of knowledge about Muyil, its former Mayan inhabitants and the structures that they left behind as well as the animals and plants that continue to call it home! It was just like summer camp - being led on a cool adventure in the forest and in the water, having a great picnic... More

I can't say enough good things about this tour. Miguel was the most knowledgeable tour guide I have ever encountered in my travels. While we were seeing over 60 types of birds as we were walking through the various types of jungle we had the most stimulating conversation on ecology, history and the way of life in the Yucatan. Very... More

The tour of Muyil was fantastic. The guides, Miguel and Alberto were incredibly knowledgeable and articulate about the ecology and cultural history of Sian Ka-an and shared their obvious passion for the place with skill and humor. The tour was well organized, and paced; we were picked up promptly as arranged and there was a generous supply of fresh sandwiches,... More

We booked a private tour on Feb 3. The company allowed us to customize it because we were only two people and we didn't find a tour that fit our needs. Alberto was our tour guide and he showed up promptly. In fact our watch was one hour behind so we were actually running a little late but he was... More

I can not say enough good things about Mexico Kan Tours. We booked two tours - Copa and a Birdwatching Tour. In both cases we had excellent, well informed, friendly tour guides with excellent English, all to ourselves. Transportation, meals, site seeing as well as history and science lessons. Top notch. It may seem pricey but it is worth every... More

We went on a tour to Chichen Itza and Valladolid with a stop at a nice cenote. Our tour guide was great and we appreciated having the transportation and meals included since we didn't want to rent a car on our honeymoon to Tulum. Great trip overall and very nice and knowledgable staff. Thanks, guys!

Did the inland adventure that included Coba, cenote and spider monkey reserve. Alberto was very knowledgeable and we learned so much about Mayan culture including Coba but also how it fits with Tulum and Chichen Itza. Snacks were local and healthy, Alberto helped us and was able to make some accommodations to add further value (stopping at a local store,... More
