Type: Bar/ Clubs, Nightlife
Owner description: Sip on locally inspired, signature cocktails, shaken, stirred and muddled by our talented team of Cantinero’s. Lounge on bean bags and listen to the toe tapping smooth grooves and world beats that Mezzanine is famous for. Watch the action on Tulum’s vast white sand beach under billowing shade sails from the privacy of the expansive patio or secluded sundeck. Get a bit silly enjoying the 2x1 afternoon margarita specials. Each Thursday night Mezzanine is transformed into 1940's Cuba with live band playing Cuban Rhythms on the deck and Cuban dance show... Classic Rums and Cigars are the order of the night.

After spending some time on the beach we went to Mezzanine bar to take a cocktail. The Margaritas were perfect. Make sure you had eaten something before, as there was enough tequila in it!

We spent the morning at the historical ruins of Tulum, but had been curious about this well-reviewed Thai restaurant in Tulum, so we went for a late lunch. We were greeted by a gracious lady at reception and sat promptly at the Oceanside table. We ordered drinks (margaritas are 2 for 1 between 1 and 5 pm) and lunch. All... More

We stopped in after spending time on the beautiful beach because Mezzanine advertised 2-for-1 happy hour specials. They have many specialties for margaritas. Try the spicy mezcal margarita was real chunks of jalapeno peppers, or the Thai basil margarita (much less spicy). Note this is a higher-end bar and hotel so your drink and portion of ceviche will not be... More

Delicious drinks and warm smiles goes a long way when your reservation goes missing. Not anyones fault but Expedia and you all made our brief time there very pleasurable. My tears were quickly replaced with smiles because of you. Thank you.

Staff are nice and helping, great cocktails and shakes. Zen atmosphere and music. The menu is amazing, every meal was a hit. We stayed at the hotel and didn't want to go anywhere else. Located just above the beach with a perfect breeze. Sit by the beach on beanbags or in the cozy chairs in the restaurant. Clean bathrooms...

After a day walking round the Tulum ruins, we decided to continue walking and boy am I glad we did! We walked along paradise beach in search for Mezzanine as it was recommended to me by a friend who lived and worked nearby last year. We passed a couple of quirky looking places which I would've been glad to go... More

We ate at Mezzanine twice while were were visiting Tulum with our children (7 and 5) in April. We were taking day trips from our condo in Playa del Carmen to the ruins in Coba and Tulum and both times decided to have a delicious meal at Mezzanine -- as it's always excellent Thai food, amazing service and yummy smoothies.... My two friends and I were pleasantly surprised when we arrived in the afternoon! It's like Thailand in the Yucatan. Beautiful! Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating to every wish! What a lovely staff. I kinda don't want to give a great review because I don't want it to get too well known and busy. The Thai fusion food was... More

This is a great place to eat. The Thai Fusion menus is incredible, and the food tastes as terrific as it sounds. A don't miss.
