Treat yourself to this tour. It was one of the best day trips we did. Community Tours were easy to work with and professional. They will pick you up from your hotel, drive you to their offices in the Puebla - that's to finish paperwork and finalize payment. Tours are up to 12 people, not huge and not too small... More

This was a very good tour due to the fact that our guide Alberto. He was very proud of his job and the nature at Sian Ka'an. I would recommend this tour to anyone. The food was very good at the end of the tour. I would recommend this tour to all. Again, hats off to our guide Alberto!!!

The tour was the most enjoyable activity I did during my time in Tulum. We went for a "Mayaking" tour on a quiet day. Our guide, Caesar, was friendly and knowledgeable about the biosphere, Mayan history and culture, both ancient and contemporary. We were glad to learn that this tour enterprise was conducted by Mexicans, mostly local, unlike some tours... More

This trip to Sian Ka'an is multifacted: a visit to some small ruins, a walk in a wooded area with a wildlife viewing platform, a boat trip and another walk through a wetland. Lots to see -- all of it interesting. We were initially concerned that our guide was too talkative but we soon came to appreciate and enjoy his... More

I was just in Tulum and was really looking forward to the Sian Ka'an Community Tours Forest Hike and Float trip. I was traveling with a friend and he went on a Wednesday and loved it. The trip was as advertised - a short hike in the jungle amid Mayan ruins with a naturalist, a view above the canopy from... More

We took a tour on a "launcha" (small moterized boat) with a pretty large group. Omar was our guide. The boat tour takes you through the canals all the way to the ocean. You float down one canal (wonderful!), see some Mayan ruins, look for cocodrillos, see manatees, and eventually get to the ocean. Everything is so prestine and beautiful,... More

It took hours to find out that the old tour company was no more and the new Community Tours had taken over many of the adventures. We finally booked a kayak tour for the next afternoon for 4 people and easily found our way to the Community Tours Office just south of Muyil. Our guide, Manual, was a free lance... More

We had a wonderful trip with the Sian Ka'an Community Tours from Tulum. Our trip was the one with the boats (pangas) going from lagoon to lagoon, plus floating down the canal,; we also saw some manatees and had a delicious lunch. Thanks to Antonio, our knowledgeable guide! Michele & Peter

The meal after our tour was the most delicious meal we had in our 7 days in Tulum, but we were very hungry after an awesome day of unbelievable sites and a float down the crystal canal. Our guide, Alfredo, was very knowledgable. Best of all we we felt so good supporting the Mayan Community. The tour was good for... More

We toured Sian Ka'an for an afternoon with Caesar,, who was terrific and very well informed. He provided interesting information about the biosphere and Mayan history. Floating down the canal among the mangroves and orchids was a highlight. The biosphere is very impressive. Community tours is a socially conscious organization with a mission to help the local community, Very admirable!!
