I walked up to the dive shop at about 8:00 in the evening and was able to book a cenote dive to Dos Ojos for the next day. I showed up the next morning, was fitted with good gear and jumped in a truck. Wetsuits and strong underwater lights were provided. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly and very concerned... My wife and I had the opportunity to dive with Gaetan, He was not only great at finding awesome sea life to observe but was always aware of the divers in our group, ensuring that we followed his instructions and ensuring that we had a great and safe dive. His initial instructions during the morning session prior to the open... More

My girlfriend and I were staying at the Sandos Caracol Eco and wished to do some diving around Playa del Carmen. Right on the resort is one of the three Scuba Libre dive shops in Playa del Carmen, so we went for this convenient option to book fun dives. First day of diving we went to the cenotes for two... I would like to start by mentioning this is a continuation of Scuba Libres fantastic service for the past seven years. I went about a week ago to the playa del carmen site to complete a discovery dive. Our dive instructor was Pascal A. who was friendly, helpful and lots of fun to learn the basics of scuba with. Because... More

I did my open water licence with Scuba Libre a week ago and I would recommend them to anybody looking for diving experiences. The teacher Gaetan was very professional and showed very good teaching skills. The entire team was also very friendly. A very good experience and very nice holidays !

We stayed at Sandos Beach Resort where one of Scuba Libre's sites is at. First time ever diving (GF and me) and what you get from Scuba Libre was well worth it. Richardo "suckered" us into trying the free pool experience at our hotel and we were hooked. Richardo did his job and wasn't pushy about it. We got 2... More

First time diving in Playa del Carmen and compared to Cozumel, I was happily surprised. Much less crowded waters, not as dramatic coral shelfs but still, great formations and wonderful aquatic life. Adam and Gaetan were fabulous dive leaders, great attitudes, very sharing and cooperative, super helpful above and under the surface. The guy we had on the third day... More
