I used the centre that is located at the beach within The Santos hotel. They have spacious powerful boats with good dive guides. The cenote dive is well worth doing as is the Cozumel trip on the Cozumel express.
I would recommend this centre.

I did 4 dives with these guys a few weeks ago. The divemasters and instructors are top notch and speak very good English. Rental gear is much better than I expected. The fins they rent are shoe type, so if you like the type you wear booties with, bring your own. They did change our trip time at the last...

I just finished my PADI OWD course at Scuba Libre (just the open water dives through the Referral program, the rest I did at home), and it was fantastic. Riccardo is very prompt at answering emails and was able to book me in pretty last minute and answer all my questions. For the PADI dives we went with an instructor...

Many thanks to the Scuba Libre team at Sandos Caracol. My grandson had a wonderful experience. Sam, his dive instructor, did a great job. He is now excited about getting certified and hopes to come and dive again with you. Love the small groups, very organized and fun. Marianna the underwater photographer did an awesome job, loved her videos.

Our scuba divers club, over the past 5 years has been traveling to "vacation" destinations in the Dominican Republic and Mexico, and we were extremely impressed with our vacation this year....partially because of the excellent dive operator in Playa Del Carmen called Scuba Libre. They were unbelievable in looking after our group which is large and diverse and, dare I...

Took 6 dives and a refresher. The equipment was not the best, but the crew was wonderful. Good sites and the cenotes were special.

Scuba libre was recommended to us by some friends from Playa. We got certified there and the staff, especially Simona, was really helpful and nice! Also our instructor Geraldine did a very good job! We had lots of fun and although the conditions for diving were a bit rough that week they tried their best to make us feel relaxed...
