I'm unable to visit anywhere in the world without trying to get at least 1 round of golf in, so after a little research I picked Playacar as I was staying downtown Playa Del Carmen and this was walking distance from the hotel. First off I checked the rates online and through the hotel I was staying at and all... More

Booked a round of golf thru the hotel I was staying, at a cost of $145 US. This included pick up and drop off from the hotel, a full set of Callaway clubs in good condition, basket of range balls, a buggie and unlimited drinks and food. I am an 11 handicap and found the course an enjoyable challenge. I... More

Straight and narrow. Loved that food and drinks were included; there was always a service cart around!

Played here on 11/17/14 - very nice layout, conditions were awesome, and the wildlife on the course second to none. Downside was the lack of organization at the starters stand - sent us off on the back (behind two singles - we were a twosome) and when we hit the much easier front nine - we were behind a couple... You are greeted by a friendly starter after having a nice meal in the restaurant. Drinks and snacks are provided about every three holes. The course is in very good shape and requires good control of your shot.

I really enjoyed this course, I like to golf a lot and sometimes it can be a hit an miss when you are traveling and planing on golfing at your destination. Not all courses have the same standards but the Playacar course was a excellent! The greens were well maintained and the clubhouse had great service.

My wife and I combined play around 50 rounds a year at this course and consider it our home course even though we live in Canada. It is the most challenging course we play and a must for every avid golfer while in this part of Mexico. The course is in great shape and course management is a must. Either... More

Honestly layout is phenomenal there is a par 5 here that i think may be the hardes hole i've ever played. Watch out for the coati they will attack your cart for food. The course is very fair and not sure where others are playing if they think these are tight fairways. They arent tight its just that the terrain... More

I went to this golf club with my son last year. The price is a bit high but the course is in pristine condition. The layout of the course is fun for both experienced golfers and rooks, and we got snacks and drinks. The equipment they have for rent is up-to-date and in great condition.
