On this property there are 2 cenotes: Chac Mool and Kukulkan. They were both great the later being the better of the 2. Excellent dome can be surfaced and explored without mask/regulator. Our dive shop, Dive X, was excellent. Halo-cline was longer than I have experienced so swimming through it was difficult to appreciate anything other than the halo-cline itself.... More

WOW. This was our 1st Cenote scuba dive. No words to adequately describe the experience, but here it goes. It's like floating through Space exploring another planet. The water is so clear it seems like you are suspended in air. I was so dazzled by my surroundings that I forgot I was submerged in cavern 50 ft under water with... More

I visited the Chac Mool Dive site with my fiance in November 2013. We made our arrangements with Alvero from Always Diving and he guided our dives. The dives in these cenotes were amazing. I've been diving in the oceans and in fresh water lakes. These dives are completely different. There are a few small fish to see here and... More

As an experianced diver, I was not attracted to the cenotes for any reason other than to say i've done that. With the complete absence of any marine life, waterclarity so poor due to the hydroclimes you can't see your hand in front of your face, and the total time of 12 hours away from the resort for a double... My husband, teenage son, and I did some snorkeling here. It was remote, quiet, and incredibly beautiful, one of the highlights of our Riviera Maya trip.

This was my first scuba dive in a Cenote, although I have snorkeled several and have been looking forward to this experience. I was not disappointed! Went with Scuba Libre and our guide Rigo was thorough and informative. Not to busy while we were there and felt like we had the whole place to ourselves, you just cant describe how... More

Dived here with Matthew from DiveMex- the caverns are incredible. In the first, you get the "laser-light" show for which cenotes are famous. In the second, you see underwater stalactites/stalagmites, fossils, and sweet rock formations. There is a bathroom (don't expect five stars), a little restaurant, and a couple other touristy stands. One cool part of this is that there... More

We went diving the cenotes of the chac mol system with Dirk from Divemex. What a fantastic two dives we had here, everything is like you are floating on a different planet. I left me spechless. TIP If you are not a diver, it will probably be underwelming to you because all you can do is swim on it and... More

I just dove Chac Mol two days ago. This was not my first cenote but still it felt very original and new to me. I dive every day in the ocean, but these caverns are still feel different every single time. The first dive is a bit plain, but you have a chance to see the halocline really clear which... More
