Title says it all!! This course is soooo nice. Just amazing. Super well maintained. Literally dozens of people working on it all the time. Great greens, fairways, and bunkers. Staff was adequate but nothing special. Being connected to three luxury resorts, you would expect a little more.

I am a travel agent and booked a group with Lizette to golf. I made it very clear to Lizette which hotel my group was staying via phone calls and emails. Lizette sent the bus to the wrong hotel and my clients had to take taxi's to the golf course at their own expense. The group barely made it in... More

Course was excellent, the staff at check in were not very nice or helpful and was to worried about groups that they were very organized with individual couples tee times, however the starts seemed better. This is a great course, not for the novice golfer though!

This place is definitely worth the money. If you are looking for the best course on the Yucatán and insula this is probably it. Make sure that you do book the teatime in advance as it will save you some money. I highly recommend playing from the white tees as the yardage can significantly increase as it is very windy.... My husband played at Mayakoba today while I drove the cart. All I can say is what a waste of part of our vacation! He had to change clubs 3 times because they kept giving him some with regular shafts and others with stiff shafts. The clubs themselves were VERY worn out, the driver nearly unusable. Some of the staff... More

This is a great fun course. However, its wildly overpriced not only in comparison to other courses, but also for food and drinks.

I had to check it out...the resort has fantastic reviews and a PGA course...so I went for lunch. The grounds are amazing. The property is amazing. The service is very good. The food is good...not 5 star by my estimation...and a $70 lunch (US) I felt was overpriced, but you are paying for the experience, which was worth it. Would... More

This is as nice as it gets. Service is first class and the faculties are luxurious. The course was in perfect condition. This is a PGA tour stop so you know the layout has to be challenging but fair. But, I played the correct tee box for my game (6,100 yds) and shot my average. Golf is expensive everywhere down... More

This is a golf resort which attracts probably above average players. Staying in Playa for 6 weeks I decided to take my below average game to Mayakoba! It is expensive but savings can be found if you play after noon, they advertise 1 or 2pm as twilight time but if you check it can be much earlier. (i.e. 12 noon)... More

Thank you for your input! Our Twilight starts at 12 pm (October-May) and 1pm (June-September). We do only offer 2 complimentary bottles of water at arrival, but our restaurant Koba Casa Club takes good care of our clients both on course and in the Clubhouse. We are working on our ProShop and our new menu has a wider selection of... More

first class service, a great practice facility, and beautiful views. the television coverage does not do this place justice. I regret to say that the only thing I didn't enjoy with this course was the fact that the greens were horribly slow. I understand that they cannot have the greens at tour speeds all year long as it would affect... More
