We have 6 excursions that combine approach to the Maya culture, exciting activities and contact with nature. Our expeditions are designed for anyone willing to explore the jungle, pristine cenotes and learn about the cultural heritage. We operate in small groups with highly qualified guides.

* Coba Maya Encounter: visit the archaeological site of Coba and a Mayan community where we do adventure activities in natural surroundings such as rappelling, zip-lining, canoeing and jungle trekking.

* Coba Mayaville: especially for those who want to visit Coba and have a genuine and sustainable approach with Mayan communities to learn about their culture, history and traditions, including the Mayan ceremony.

* Tulum Jungle Maya: visit the famous archaeological site of Tulum and enter a natural reserve where we do adventure activities such as snorkeling, rappelling, sip-lining, 4x4 and swimming in cenotes.

* Ek-Balam Cenote Maya: explore the best preserved archaeological site of the Maya culture and the largest Yucatan cenote where we can do optional adventure activities.

* Jungle Maya: This half-day expedition offers adventure activities in a privileged natural reserve recommended by National Geographic Snorkeler for its incredible cenotes and the access to the longest underground river in the world: the Sacactun System.

* nATiVe'S: a unique half day excursion to enjoy the jungle while driving an ATV. The route includes a cave, maya ceremony and a cenote where you can swim in crystal clear fresh water.

We booked the Ek Balam/Cenote Maya tour with Alltournative. We were staying in a small boutique hotel in Playa del Carmen so our pickup was arranged for the Coco Bongo. We drove to the Cenote Maya first which was about an hour and a half from Playa. When we arrived we had a spiritual session with a Mayan shaman which... More

I did the Jungla Maya tour, we were a small group so the explanations were very specific and the tour guide could take time to answer questions. The canopy is very cool, it's not fast enough for you to be scared and not slow enough for you to get bored, the equipment is super safe. The rappel is fun too,... More

My wife and I and three adult sons went on the full day Cenote Maya tour. Have never experienced anything like it. Toured through some Mayan villages on our way to 800 A.D. ruins at Ek Balam. Along the way our tour guide, Olga, filled us in on the history and culture of the Mayan people. Once at the site,... More

My friend and I were a little unprepared for this since the person we booked it through told us we only needed our swimsuits and a waterproof camera if we had one. It was a little difficult to do in flip flops, but we made due. Our tour guide, Perfecto, was very funny and knowledgeable. He seemed to be accommodating... More

I still don't believe that I did abseiling/repelling and zip lining. A totally fun day trip and the best holiday tour we have ever done. Carlos (Charley) Espinosa was the greatest - he was funny and encouraging and didn't lose any of us!!! We were a group of 11 and seemed to bond together as a team - encouraging each... More

The tour we took to the Ek Balam ruins and Cenotes was amazing! The tour guide had a background with historical study so everything was explained in great detail. Loved it!

My husband, myself and our two boys (ages 14 and 11) loved the Coba Maya Encounter tour!! Our day included a visit to a Mayan village with rappelling, ziplining, canoeing, swimming in a cenote and a delicious lunch followed by a visit to the archeological site at Coba. Our tour guide ‘Captain Snake’ was very knowledgeable and attentive with a... More

Our tour was to two Mayan archeological sites, Tulum and Coba, an authentic Mayan meal, a visit to a rustic rural Mayan village and participation in a Mayan religious ceremony. The tour group was limited to twelve persons with two guides who spoke French, Spanish, Mayan and excellent English. The Tulum and Coba sites were fabulous, Tulum being on the... More

We took the Tulum Jungle Maya tour. We were the oldest couple there, both my wife and I near our 60's, having fun with newly weds and young adults. Our guide Tonancy was outstanding !!! When it came to the snorkeling activities, we were worried because my wife doesn't swim, but no worries and no problems, Tonancy helped my wife... More

Great, full-day tour that lets you see a lot of the Yucatan besides the beach. Guides were knowledgeable both about history but also safety. Ziplining was great. I didn't really like rappelling (but never felt unsafe) but swimming in the cenote was awesome and worth it. The food was EXCELLENT; one of the best meals I had the entire trip,... More
