Nice place to lay at the beach. Beds are 200 pesos / pp and you have to drink/eat for minimum 1000 pesos. Service is not top. Have to wait a longtime until they serve your drinks. Nice place to go to the beach but ... not the best beachbar I visited. In general: would not recommand the place.

Mamitas Beach is a must in Playa del Carmen, no doubt about that, HOWEVER, the club service sucks, the waiters rise the prices as they see fit and when you ask for the tab you realize the whole scam and the food is not even good, is quite poor actually, so are the drinks, I have got SEVERAL TIMES being... This place is way too south beach for Playa in my opinion. The set up of the place is horrible and certain bars only have beer while others only have tequila. I thought this was the worst place to party for the daytime. Also as others have stated this is one of the most expensive places in Playa hands down.

Mamitas is the worst place you could possibly want to be unless you are under 22 years of age. By noon the place is like Disney. The music that is blasted by a DJ caters to all the free people under 22 who sit in front on the free beach half stoned. The place has no class. The food on... More

We got chairs and palapas (30 pesos each/day) for 3 days. We arrived early (before 8am and 10am on a cloudy day) and it packed up well at around noon. The music starts at around 1PM and can be really loud. People also put their towels right in front of you on the beach so if you want a quiet... More

I had high expectations of celebrating New Years in Mamitas, the cost of the event and bottles were really high, so I expected that we would get our money´s worth. Big disappointment, highly overrated, to expensive and nothing really fun about the party. The service was ok, but for what the flyer of the party said and expectation created.. had... More

Definitely one of the most pretentious and overrated places I have ever visited, promoters outside the club were very nice while trying to get us in, once in there beach was crowded , When I asked one of the guys who worked there for Some towels and beach chairs, he looked ad me, laughed at my face and said, "there's... The house music and DJs playing crap music and swearing with the F-word are heard for at least 2 KMs, thus ruining the experiences for those at surround EXPENSIVE all-inclusive hotels. No vacation should include so much LOUD music. no wonder kids are obsessed with zombies, they are not even dancing to this crap. Mamita's will single-handedly drive out repeat... More

Marmitas was so crowded we couldn't get chairs together. It is loud, crowded and the staff was not friendly or helpful.

The restaurant of the beach club is very good. Even if it was packed the food came quickly and the quality was very good. I was really surprised with the pulpo a la plancha and the ceviche. Even the coffee was excellent
