The gentleman running the spa was polite and knowledgeable. He cleaned our feet and legs before we put them in the water. He explained everything and told us not to move fast or it will scare the fish. The feeling was some wear between tingling and a stinger but kind of ticklish. We held them for 20 min and when... We had read about this before we went to Playa Del Carmen so wanted to try it out. What a fun thing to do - so interesting to watch these tiny little fish nibble at your feet - feels great and your feet will love you. Very relaxing, and refreshing and your feet will feel so smooth afterwards. We loved... More

I did this with my daughter last week and it was worth the money if only for the laughs. It is just about exactly what you would expect. I did find it fun to open my toes wide. The fish did not go after the dead cracked skin on my heels like I thought. They worked one specific part of... More

I've seen this a bunch of times & never tried it. This vacation my hubby & I decided...why not? It was fun. Yannin was fun and she took some cool pictures. It tickled and I giggled the whole way through. It was cheap and we got to people watch while getting the treatment done.

An experience you'll never forget. Tiny little fish eating the dead skin off of your feet. It's quite ticklish at first, you have to keep still otherwise they won't go near your feet. They offer a full body treatment but I don't think I could handle that. There were three of us at the time that went so it was... More

I've been to Playa del Carmen 3 times now. It's always a thrill to walk down 5th ave and check out all the shopping and attractions. I was pleasantly surprised by the new Wayan fish spa! You stick your feet in a tank of fish and they gently eat all the dead skin cells off your feet! It was something... More

A couple of years I saw this in Cambodia. I passed on it and always regretted my decision. Last week when we were in Playa del Carmen, we came across Fish Spa. It was $20 for two people for 15 minutes. It felt pretty crazy. They did clean your feet pretty good first, but I am not sure how safe... More
