The church is very beautiful and serene. We did not get to attend a mass here, but we're able to sit and say a prayer. The carvings on the walls are beautiful. Also, the nuns had a small table of goods to purchase which were made by the sisters. Must see!

This chapel at the end of 5th avenue has Mass in English at ?10? a.m. in Sunday and at Noon In Spanish. If you want to attend Mass on Sunday, get there early to get a seat. The view is beautiful with the Large window behind the alter you look out onto Palm Trees and the Ocean.

Walking the avenue we saw this place and it is awesome. Nobody bothering you, was a mass when we stopped in, really an oasis on this street.

Lots of weddings were witnessed while we were here. It is in such a great location right on 5th kitty corner to the bus depot. The beach is at the end of the block and the main square is right behind the church so there are is lots going on in this little spot. The church itself is small and... More

This church was the site of a family baptismal service in 2015. It is an absolutely wonderful small and beautiful edifice on 5th Avenue. A "must see" during your visit. Our little church service was uplifting and rewarding in every aspect. This church is a jewel in the middle of busy and bustling Playa del Carmen.

Right down centre in Playa Del Carmen we watched a wedding. If no one inside they will let you take pictures. Great view and good area for pictures.

Simple and small Catholic church of Playa Del Carmen. If you happen to visit the plaza at the right time, you are able to witness the Danza de los Voladores (Dance of the Flyers), a ritual ceremony dance performed by 5 participants on/from a 30 meter pole.
