Just what Playacar needs. A plaza with shops so close to all the resorts. Just a short walk away, you can buy souvenirs, sign up for tours or get a massage. Starbucks has free Wifi and stores to pickup anything you may have forgotten at home. Wont replace 5th ave. but will do in a pinch.

Like the walk down 5th st in the evening, not as hot as in the daytime. Lots to see, a little disappointed that we could not eat at Senior frogs cause they were preparing for a concert.

And, not so convenient if you are making a separate trip there! It's interesting, I wouldn't say that any of the shops are that impressive with the range of merchandise or pricing, but some of the little eateries are charming. If you happen to be renting (or owning) in Playacar, then it is a convenient little village in the area.... More

We shopped here while staying at a nearby resort. Some of the same stuff as seen on 5th Ave but a lot less crowded and the vendors not as pushy. There is a Starbucks if that's your thing.

Liked Incredibly convenient, I bought a couple souvenirs from here and was very tempted to do the fish foot spa! I ended up buying Corona from here, as there were none at my hotel! Disliked Some things were very over priced. I understand making money off of customer's needs.. but $22 CAD for mascara? Really? That's a little excessive. I... More

Not a bad place to shop if you don't want to walk into Playa and get hassled. Got a great deal on a MK purse and you can find all kinds of trinkets to take home. Also a bonus is Starbucks that is located right next to it.

Nice mall but nothing much different than what you would find in the states. I expected more than what this mall has to offer.

This "shopping mall" only has a Starbucks and a lot of overpriced mexican souvenirs. We were planning on spending a couple of hours there but ended up leaving after 20 minutes. Go to the Quinta Avenida area instead.

The Plaza was only a couple minutes walk from my resort and had several interesting shops to peruse through for an afternoon. Unlike the local 5th Ave, the vendors here don't harass you as much and instead are more relaxed which means shopping isn't a tedious experience, unless you enjoy the thrill. I also found it to be safer due... More

Unlike 5th av, here you feel safe. There is a good amount of shops, prices are pretty high but not even close to the hotelshop. I recommend a visit! If you try you might get a good discount...
