I struggled between average and very good on this one. It's not totally cheese ball, but it's on the verge. We found some nice souvenirs and didn't feel raped by the prices. Stamps said made in Mexico, not China, so that was comforting. The area is safe and you can haggle with the kiosk vendors, but not the shopkeepers, FYI.... More

Not too bad in price re: souveniers considering it neighbours the hotels. No hassle when you walk into the shops. Stalls seem to be more expensive than the shops so best to look around and not the prices

We loved the opportunity to walk from our resort with the kids to do some shopping and visit a Starbucks! The kids loved the spray-painting art and each bought a picture for their souvenir.

You can walk about a 15 minute walk from resort to the plaza. You can take a taxi for $7. Make the short trip! It is well worth it. Lots of shops, music and quaint places to see and some great little places to eat.

This was a five minute walk from our resort at Iberostar Tucan. My husband needed to go to the pharmacy for some ear drops from the plane ride and playing in the ocean. The place was clean, friendly, and helpful. Take the stroll as it is a nice area!

The shops were generally good. A lot of the same stuff. There were a few nicer jewelry places. The best part was the easy walk for the hotel. If you want to bargain a lot this is not the place to go.

I will never go to 5th ave. again This place has the same stuff (sure couple bucks more) but without the nonsense. Prices marked no one hounding you. No offers of drugs. If your staying in playacar and want to bring gifts home come here not 5th. unless you like that scene.

This was a nice place to visit, a lot of stuff in many different stores but a lot of the same. Very clean an d a nice close walk from the resort. More stores than it appears when you drive by. Nice vendors with not a lot of pressure to buy.
