Just spent a week in PDC with my girlfriends, and we spent 6 nights in a row seated front and centre at the bar! Live music every night is a big draw, beyond excellent staff who keep your drink full at all times, and prices comparable to all other bars on 5th. Love the cozy atmosphere and the complimentary popcorn!... More

This bar is absolutely fantastic! Great cocktails, great staff, great bands, staff and people! I have had a fantastic time so much that I visited it almost every night during my 10 days vacation. The staff especially is amazing, super fun and friendly. Best place in playa!

We came across with this little bar when we were strolling around after the dinner. The band they had was so unique and amazing!! So many people like us just stopped in front of the bar and drawn into to sit down and have drinks to enjoy the music. We saw quite a few places having the band, singers, etc,... More

Dont say you are pet friendly if you are going to kick people out for having a puppy barking! my husband and I were having a lovely evening when we ordered a second round of drinks, however the waiter told us he couldn't serve us because our puppy was disturbing the customers by barking..., I wouldn't have mind if he... We popped in here for a drink just for the sake of it as we walked past! The live music was really good, the staff were really good and it was so cheap!! 65 pesos for a cocktail! It was in a pint glass!! Can't complain at that!! Would definitely recommend anyone to try it out!!

Yep, Kitxen does not have a kitchen. The only 'food' on offer is free popcorn or nuts. However, food is not why you stop by. The music is very varied but generally good to excellent. The drinks are good and priced about right for a bar that offers good music. We stop by pretty much every evening. The staff are... More

Holy cow this was an expensive stop on our walk. The music brought us to the bar stools, but the drink taste and the drink prices sent us walking after the first round. My strawberry margarita lacked taste so badly, that I cashed out before getting my 2 for 1!! The bartenders were nice, but next time, we'll keep walking!

I went to Playa in 2012 and fell in love with this place! We stayed one evening drinking the best mojitos ever, people watching, and listening to live bands. So wonderful! We went back this month, and it was not as enchanting. Still a cool vibe and good people watching, but I think the prices went up and the drinks... More
