Description: We are an art gallery with a new concept located in Playa del Carmen...
We are an art gallery with a new concept located in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The principle objective of this concept is to reconcile the greater public with the art world, to bridge the void, and put it quality art within reach of every collector. We believe that the traditional galleries have closed their doors to new talents. The politics and high prices have distanced the public from something as beautiful and universal as art. We have the ambition to fill this niche by offering our clients original works of art, created by talented artists (young, emerging, established) from all over the world, with different theme and techniques for any particular style, taste and budget--as quality and creativity are the principle characteristics of the work.

Not everything has to be connected to the beaches of Mexico. A trip to this gallery is time well spent.

All you have to do is to figure out how to get it home. I have thought about buying a place down there so I would not have to bring things back......

I would like to have seen more original artwork as most of what they have is re-pop. The stuff they had was also overpriced

If interested in bringing home a beautiful visual memory of Mexico then visit the Riviera Art Gallery. The owner is a delight and we were lucky enough to have been helped in our selections by both the lovely owner and Matthew from Texas! There are works by local artists and the stunning art work of Ricardo Campero. His works are... More

Found this gem of a gallery! Just off 5th Ave across from Senor Frogs. Small , but had some excellent original local and Mexican pieces. No come-ons or pressure. Warm and welcome atmosphere. Interesting . We purchased a fantastic panel piece by Ricoedo Campero. Thanks to Vanessa who was interesting and informative. Wrapped and package for air travel , the... More

You can find the finest comtemporary Mexican art in this gallery. Experienced and very friendly personnel who give you the inside information on the artists and give good when it comes to financing the pieces of art you intend to buy. You won't find a better and everlasting Mexican souvenir elsewhere.

I am an artist who just found this gallery after living here for three years. It is a sweet gem and the person I met when I walked in was aware of the local art scene. It has many local artists showing. Charming ark, some very good, some mediocre. Artwork for every taste level. My only critique is that the... More

We stumbled on this gallery by chance and I'm so glad we did. We bought a panel that I absolutely loved. The lady at the gallery was really pleasant and informative . I would really recommend that you try and stop in and check out the displays. Especially if you are looking for something different to bring home from your... More

My wife and I stopped in while we were staying in Playa del Carmen. It's a small place, but with some interesting local art. We had a nice conversation with the person working there (who was very excited about the art) and bought a textured wall hanging. Very pleasant experience.
