My wife and I dove with Steve, through the Scuba Tribe. We were very pleased. We are not very experienced divers and we felt very safe. Steve chose a few of the best dive locations in Playa and we saw a lot of fish. Highly recommend.

Deep Blue in Cozumel set us up with Scuba Tribe in Playa del Carmen for cenote dives. Hector and Alex picked our family up from the ferry, then took us to the shop to get fitted for gear, etc. Steve and Alex were our guides for the trip, and both were extremely professional and personable. They even dug up some... More

Did a cenote dive with them. We did chak maul and kukulkan. My guide / instructor was mauricio who was very nice, professional, patient and spoke good English which helped us communicate. They supplied all the equipment, transportation, entrance fees, food and beverages. Really enjoyed my dives with them

My wife and I and two other family members recently dove with The Scube Tribe in Playa Del Carmin. My wife and I are recently certified so finding a dive shop sensitive to our new experience with scuba was important to us. Hector the owner was amazing, we did two dive in Playa Del Carmin, he explained and pointed out... More

I've had probably close to 30 dives in Cozumel and Riviera Maya area in the last 7 years. This time I dove with Deep Blue at Cozumel, had good experience there, and they recommended Hector at Scuba Tribe for cavern diving in cenotes (highly recommend if you have never done this). I did 4 cavern dives in cenotes with Hector... More

Dove with Scuba Tribe and had a wonderful experience. Hector is knowledgeable, experienced and runs an amazing shop. Our first two dives were great after which Hector suggested our next two be cenotes, what a once in a lifetime experience!! Would defiantly dive with the Scuba Tribe again. Feel like we made a friend for life. The reviews are right,... More

Our group had a great time diving with The Scuba Trip and specifically Hector. We dove with The Scuba Tribe two days and one the first day we did a couple of ocean dives. Hector took us to Two great reefs that had a lot of marine life and coral. He was excellent at pointing out the marine life that... More

We dove with the scuba tribe a year ago, and enjoyed it very much and gave them a 5 star review. So we decided to dive with them again this year. Unfortunately it was not a 5 star dive this time. We did the afternoon dive last Saturday. The shop was pretty easy to find, and Hector was ready for... More

We arrived in Playa del Carmen during a storm unfortunately but that didn't stop Hector and the dive staff from setting up 6 amazing dives. Because it was raining during our first day to dive, we decided to go to the cenotes as they are not affected much by the rain. Mauricio was our guide that day and was absolutely... More

My husband and I just returned from a long labor day weekend in the Riviera Maya. Though we have experience diving off the coast and around Cozumel, this was our first cenote dive. We chose The Scuba Tribe based on the excellent reviews we had read here on tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. Our reservation was handled promptly and... More

Dear Jan B, It was totally a pleasure to meet you and your husband, I'm so glad you liked Dos Ojos one of our favorites, however there's dozens of other cenotes that will be waiting for you to dive on your next trip in the Riviera Maya. I'm always glad to hear that Steve and his sidekick Gustavo are pleasing... More
