I just returned from a week-long trip to Puerto Aventuras in Mexico with my family. We stayed at the Dreams hotel, just across from the Dolphin marina from Local Quickies. We inquired at several local tour shops for something for my entire family to do, and we settled on Local Quickies after talking to Amy. She was friendly and provided... More

we were looking for a snorkel tour in Playa del Carmen and happened upon Local Quickies... It is a little spendy but worth it! Booking was easy, as we called from our hotel and were relieved to be connected to Aimee, a native English speaker! She went out of her way to accommodate our needs, including vegetarian menu option. We... More

Local Quickies recently put together a birthday trip for a friend of mine and a bunch of friends to celebrate. I have to say that the trip went very well, from the initial meeting with Quickie through the return to port, Quickie made sure the details were set up properly. This trip using the Raiatea catamaran was fun with a... More

The LQ crew made the experience fun and safe. Everything was well organized and with a personal touch. Amy even gave us her cell phone number as we were deciding to participate or not. It is obvious that Quickie and crew love their home and sharing its unique beauty with their guests. Our guide, Manny, introduced us to the personal... More

Quickie gives the best tours in the Riviera Maya and this is coming from someone who has been going on vacation to the Riviera Maya for 15 years. I have not had a better experience anywhere else. The day consists of snorkeling the beautiful reefs of Akumal, swimming in the beautiful cenotes and basking on the beaches of Tulum until... More

This was the best tour ever! We had so much fun. Our tour guide Manny was entertaining and knowledgable of the local area. We did the signature excursion, saw some sea turtles, swam in a cenote, and spent the afternoon sailing on the catamaran. Captain Quickie and his daughter were there, which gave it an especially nice family feel touch.... More

Great tours! Quickie and Manny had us feeling like old friends having a wonderful day. Manny knows his stuff. We went snorkeling with turtles and also saw stingrays and reef fish, got to swim in an open cenote, had a fabulous lunch of fish & shrimp tacos and then sailed on an 82' catamaran up the coast from Tulum for... This was the best day of our week in Mexico! Zip-lining and touring cenotes in the morning, including lunch in the jungle, lazing on the beach at Tulum in midday and a catamaran trip back to Puerto Aventuras in the afternoon (with an open bar!). Would love to do this again and again!

Local Quickies is THE way to experience the real Riviera Maya, nothing gets better than a local to show you the ways of this paradise, from beginning to end the excursion was just awesome....not only because we visited hidden Cenotes, the incredible Tulum Beach and being aboard a big Catamaran with an amazing sunset view but also because the whole... My boyfriend awesomely organized for us to go on a tour with local quickies for my birthday. We went to a gorgeous virgin cenote inside the jungle. The water was fresh and clear, there where little fish that got close to you. You could jump from a small dock and dive into the deepest part of the cenote, but you... More
