Private tour, family of five, 3 teens. Diego and Maroush were fantastic. Kept my son safe from his peanut allergy, plenty of water, great insights and history on the mayan culture both past and present. Highly recommend. Ek Balam, Chichen, Cenote, Vallaloid. Great day.

We chose a private Mayan Experience Tour for our group of six-- two children (ages 9 and 11), two parents, and two grandparents. The tour was so well organized and planned that each person was able to enjoy it at his/her own level. Our guide, Enrique, was wonderful! His ability to engage the children in facts about language and history... More

We visited Chichen-Itza and Ek Balam. The guide was fantastic. He went over the ruins including ball court, el castle and other sites Chichen-Itza. Ek Balam was the high light. Many ruins to climb and experience more closely. Cenote and old town where also visited. Private tours are slightly more expensive but offer more flexibility. They even stopped the van... More

We had a Fantastic experience on both the Mayan experience and the cool tour. It did cost a little but WELL WORTH IT. Both of our guides were knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, just what you would like and expect. They had plenty of water and "Mayan Snacks" during the trip. Both meals I had which were included during the tours was... More

Thank you Trip Advisor reviewers! After much research and reaching out to several individuals through private messages, I decided to book a private tour, the Cool Tour with Mayan Explorers during Spring Break, the last week of March, 2015. The cool tour price included snorkeling in Akumal Bay with the snorkeling equipment provided, cooler with drinking water, visiting a cenote... More

Our vacation time was limited but we wanted to take some time to visit the Mayan Ruins. Based on a review we selected Mayans' Explorers. We did a half day tour of the Mayan Ruins and swimming in the caves. Our guide was excellent. He had a wealth of knowledge about the area and connected with our pre-teen kids. They... More

Although expensive for some, the attention to detail from our wonderful and knowledgable guide Efren was invaluable. I don't think visiting these sites without a guide would have been such a great and insightful experience as it was for us. Efren had a vast knowledge of not only the sights we saw, but also the history surrounding the Mayan and... More

We did the ATV/cenote tour (my wife and two teenage daughters). The ride was great (a nice mix of rocks and then flat sand), the ATVs in excellent condition, the guides very professional and nice. We did single riders; if you want to save a little $$, double would likely be just as fun. The cenote is basically a nice... More

A friend recommended this tour company and we were so glad she did. I would never want to use anyone else - for so many reasons! My family opted for the Cool Tour which took us to Akumal Bay for swimming with the turtles and sting rays; off to Tanakah where we were amazed by the entire place and people... More

We booked the all day Mayan Experience as a private tour and were so pleased we did.We started off nice and early so that we got to Chichen Itza before the crowds. Marcelo was our driver and did a super job of getting us there and back safely. Our guide was Murux, who was an engaging conversationalist with so much... More
