Been to Xcaret beginning November 2009 and paid 129$ for each person + 129$ for my GF to swim with dolphins. The park is highly over-rated and way over-priced. For that price there are really loads of people working for Xcaret just walking around doing nothing. The directions in the park are a joke. Got lost or trying to find... more

We spent a day here with our 8 year old, 6 year old and 3 year old in this HUGE park. The underground river was worth every minute! Life vests are mandatory (for the adults too) so the kids had no problems staying afloat and loved being able to snorkle their way through the caves. There were plenty of fish... more

We enjoyed this park and would like to return to do some of the things we didn't get to do the first time. We booked the all inclusive which gave us entrance to the park, snorkel equipment, 3 free sodas, water or 1 beer per person and one free meal. We enjoyed the snorkel thru the caves which we went... more

Xcaret is a different kind of theme park. We purchased a half day pass for $50 (enter after 4:00 p.m.). We went straight to the underground river as it closes at 5:30. The river swim was the highlight of the park. It takes about 45 minutes to an hour to go through. The show was cool -we really enjoyed the... more

The brochures and internet site make it sound like the best place in the world. We were disappointed with our recent visit on 10/7. I'm guessing it was 95F that day. Here are some things I think would make this a better experience: Have all-day snorkel/fin/mask exchange privileges. When I'm done snorkeling I should be able to turn in my... more

We had a great time in Can cun. We visited Xcaret. It is a theme Park with no rides. It centers around the Mayan Culture. It is great. There are some ruins. You can not see and be able to enjoy the whole park in one day. They have a buy one ticket get the second day 1/2 price deal.... more

This is a real jewel ito visit in your stay on the Mayan Riveria. It compares to Busch Gardens in its animal features but is much, much more. Take The Xcaret Plus package to get a locker, towel, and nrokel equipment for your trip down the cave river. Our trip took about 1 hr and 20 min. but there are... more

My family and I escaped to Xcaret on a sunny summer afternoon from out hotel in Cancun. After couple of days killing time in a nice pool we were ready for adventure. Excaret deliver. We took swim with dolphins early in the morning and it was definitely fun. For half an hour those majestic animals were swimming around my son... more

Perhaps due to the pre-excursion hype, and perhaps due to the incredible experience that surrounded the rest of our trip, we may have set our expectations too high. Xcaret is billed as the Mexican "disneyland." The basis of the comparisson is the volume of "attractions" the park offers. There are a great number of things to walk through, but they... more
