We were flying into Cancun to stay in Isla Mujeres, so we took the ferry to the island. I thought riding on the upper deck was a blast! The view is the beautiful, the ride is fun, and I loved the guys playing guitar. I was smiling the whole time, both trips. Great way to start and finish a vacation.... More

There's UltraMar Ferry ticket center near Gran Porto Retort, in front of the beach and Punta Langosta. A guy named Wil approached us on the fist day of our trip to Playa del Carmen. He sold us the around trip UltaMar tickets of $20 USD/person and $50 USD/person for Eco Tour Snorkeling all-inclusive with lunch and drink in Cozumel Island... More

We boarded the Ferry at Playa Caracol, very close to our hotel. This port charges $22usd as opposed to the advertised $19USd. There is a $3 port fee? Must go in their pockets. Service to Isla Mujeres was fast but we were never told that there is a stop at another port along the way so the 30 minute trip... More

We took the ferry from Cancun (Port Juarez) to Isla Mujeres. It was a little over $160 pesos per person, and the ferry departs every 30 minutes and runs all day! The ferry itself was very clean and in good condition. There is an interior seating area with large windows, and an open air top deck. I loved sitting up... More

We took this ferry from Cancun to Isla Mujeres. They run every half hour so it is very convenient and about 160 pesos per person one way. The boat has a top deck open to the sun and a lower enclosed deck for bad weather. The staff help you aboard and stow you luggage for the trip- very friendly and... More

There are three ferry companies offering transportation every hour between Playa Del Carmen and Cancun. (Services are staggered). You can purchase tickets before your go out on the dock to board the boat. Prices for a ONE way ticket range from $9.00 to $11.00 depending on which ferry company you choose. UltraMar was $9.00. Three recommendations are- 1-Go earlier in... More

Round trip fast Ferry is only $19 per person. They took cute picture on the dock as you board and amazingly found everyone on return trip to sell the pic for $10 - well worth it. You can take slower car ferry which docks outside of town in Isla Mujeres but not us.

We took the ferry to Cozumel. i think it was 165$ pesos per person on way. they suggest to buy one way at the time because sometimes they refuse the return ticket and you end up having to buy another one. once you get to Cozumel there is so much you can do. We rented a Jeep and rode around... More

This boat had a mini bar right inside the front door that had beer and also frozen mixed drinks, which was nice.. except that I had a pretty choppy ride and ended up regretting the pina colada. Was approached for on-island rental sales for scooters, etc. Polite but we declined. Boat was very clean and new, plush inside and a... More

Ferry was pretty easy to find. From the hotel district hop on a city bus and take it to the playa tortuga stop. Round trip tickets are around $19 for 2 people. You can also pre-order your golf cart here as well and pay by credit card. You MUST have a driver's license or you'll have to put a $50... More
