Witness 1000 year old Mayan ruins and local flora and fauna as you travel through the heart of the dense tropical forest. A stop for a refreshing swim and snorkel at our crystal clear cenote is a highlight of this tour. Back upon the ATVs, the next destination is an underground cavern, complete with stalactites, stalagmites, sacrificial altar and bats. Snorkel equipment and soft drink/water is included. « less

I went with my wife, brother, and sister-in-law, all of us first time ATV riders. Those of you with ATV experience might feel a little held back. But this was definitely fun for us. Oscar, our tour guide, gave us good instructions, tinged with some local humor. We then proceeded to have fun! The trails are not really that challenging, but... More

We booked our ATV tour through Yukatreks and were quite pleased. We showed up a little late, due to their signs being down b/c of the hurricane, but were briefly instructed on how to operate the ATVs (we're both from small towns in the midwest so were well experienced already) and then caught up with the rest of our group.... The location is SO convenient, just 5-10 minutes from Playa del Carmen downtown. It’s easy to get there by your own or pay and extra and they provide transportation to main hotels in Riviera Maya. From the start you can feel the good vibe and service of the staff, young and bilingual people. The welcome area and the toilets are... More

We booked the tour on line before we left the States. Paid a deposit via PayPal and the balance in cash on the day of tour. It is located south of Playa and Playacar in the....jungle. The ATVs looked decently maintained, although my husband had problems with his a couple of times, it stalled. We took the 9:00am tour, and... More

Wow! This is one adventure not to be missed. We were picked up at our resort on time. The site is decorated with "Redneck" decor....very appropriate for the business....quite good actually. We started out with a briefing of general safety rules and features on the ATV. Our guide was Edgar, he was a lot of fun. I have never been... More

sure, it's dirty. sure, you can smell gas fumes. sure, you ride on man made trails through the "jungle", but this was one activity our entire family enjoyed. the trip takes about 2 hours. you ride to a cave and explore it, then ride some more to a beautiful cenote. the water temperature is heaven! this was the coolest we... Our Sunwing Rep told us they had the biggest ATVs in the region...dont believe them! The quads are really small (125cc) old, kinda beat up with most having at least one bald tire. The ride was good but because the bike I was driving had bad tires the front end felt really greasy and I was all over the trail,... More

This is a great little adventure. This as real as it gets at only 10 minutes from Playa Del Carmen. Not the fake "disney entertainment" but really driving on dirt roads and paths through the Mayan jungle. Half way you will take a dip in a beautiful cenote. I went with the kids and when we came back, they told... More

Zoom zoom zoom. These ATVs go fast and it was awesome zipping through the jungle. It was kinda scary when the path narrowed, and became really windy. At times there was just enough clearance for the ATV. You definitely had to be in control. I highly recommend this! More
