We love the beach in Progresso and try to go every other Sunday morning. Morning is best because the water is calm because there is little wind. There are also many great restaurant but I recommend Los Arcos for the stuffed fish. More

Just checking out tour operators for my next trip to Progreso this summer and was surprised by the bad reviews from several years ago. Much has changed since then as my experience was completly different. The city was clean, the people extremely pleasant and I wasn't bombarded by a single vendor!
