Merida a great place and very nice to visit. We have been there twice. The first time we spend two days for the Independance celebration. What was a great experience, the atmosphere with all the people music, fireworks till early in the morning.

Excellent English language skills and a real desire to help tourists that is not always evident in tourist offices. Easy to find in the main zocalo.

Well located; able to support us with a member of staff whose English was infinitely better than our Spanish. We found free music on in different places in the evening.

If you are looking for info about things to do in the Yucatan check this place out.If you want info though it's best to ask. Great spot to photograph at dusk and sunrise. The setting sun and the buildings lights create an excellent orange glow. Very friendly staff.

We stopped by the day before Paseo de las Animas and Hanal Pixan to grab anything they had. The gentlemen quickly rounded up a nice collection, including maps with event stages and schedules marked. Was extremely helpful the following night,

This office is clean, air conditioned and staffed by some of the friendliest and most knowledgeable Yucatecos in all of Mérida. In respect for the environment (and the maturing of the digital age), printed brochures are limited on display, but ask any of the counselors and they will be happy to share their wealth of knowledge. Most of them spoke... More
