We don't give many excellents!! Most impressed with their knowledge and willingness to share information. We are travelling long term on a budget and the assistant was great with information on ways to see the sights using public transport. We have been to many tourist information offices in many countries and would say the Merida office is the best yet.... More

The free tour offered every morning at 9:30 was wonderful. About 90 min long, in English, the tour gave a true understanding of the rich history that surrounds the town center. Without this tour it's just another colonial square...with this tour, the town square comes alive. My your guide today was Eduardo...two thumbs up!

The folks in this office are friendly and speak Several languages. They have helped me navigate local buses, attractions local events and even answer my general questions about local area. Maps etc. I was impressed when they told me how I could get to a number of ruins and other tourist sites using local transportation instead of the much more... More

We stumble on the office as we'd become a little lost and confused. The street layout was making me crazy. The staff were so helpful. Giving a copy of Yucatan Today and giving really great easy to understand direction to where we wanted to go.

The staff were most helpful. Be sure to ask for a free Yucatan Today magazine--it has a myriad of information that's helpful. They seem not to print many copies of it, so it's good to find a copy and hang on to it for the duration of your visit.

Staff is very helpful and can refer to events happening while you are in town. Well worth a stop. Ask about walking tours too.

This group along with the local police officers on the street, were very helpful with directions and recommending venues to visit.

We walked in on Sunday morning and got the info we needed. Very pleasant staff, but their English was surprisingly lacking.

This is a good place to start, to get suggestion for your time in Merida. The staff speak many languages and are very helpful. Ed Jackson
