Have gone in a couple of times, once for directions to a particular ATM and the other time for info on tours to the ruins. Both times the staff were very helpful, they all want to answer your questions and were very polite

Need maps, brochures, info? This is the place to go. I actually went in to inquire about a restaurant that we had been told was closed. It wasn't. They offered info and directions. If you are told on the street that a restaurant or shop has closed, check here to be sure. Sometimes "friendly" folks on the street will try... More

No one in the office spoke English. Fortunately I speak Spanish so we were able to communicate. If you don't speak Spanish don't waste your time.

During a two-week vacation to Merida, my wife and I used yucatan-connections.com to arrange a driver and guide for us for three days of exploring Mayan ruins and also for a day trip to Campeche. Roberto Krause was our driver /guide for all three days. We found him to not only be a very careful driver but also extremely knowledgeable... More

They are nice people and do try but on the times I have stopped with questions they were of little help. The hand out material makes it worth the stop. If it is your first time in Merida be sure to stop and pick up some info on what is going on around the city and area in general. Nice... More

Guided walk (be prepared for the request of a propina) trhough a small part of the city. Lots of interesting facts about the city, the spanish and the buildings. The walk will definitely teach you something on the churches around the zócalo (main square) e.g. where to look for inscriptions on the stones etc. Defnitely worth the time to do... More

I took the self-guided headphone tour and saw way more of Merida than I would've without it. The young woman who assisted me was very kind and helpful. There was a poster all over town about Day of the Dead and I asked her if she knew where I could get one, and she gave me one!

First, I loved Merida...I went there two years ago for a weekend stay and will be returning next year for a longer stay. That's why I have given it the five stars...as I was reading other reviews, however, I came across one from a woman who had an unfortunate experience and I wanted to write and say the same thing...
