Amazing and historic houses. A lot of Restaurants around and nice boutiques. We didn't walk all the avenue because start to rain, but we finish it driving. More

It is like walking down the turn of the century (1900's) with all the beautiful buildings, horse drawn carriages, and cobblestone/brick street at night. There are coffee shops and side walk cafes in the evening to enjoy Paseo de Montejo. More

NO visit to MErida is complete until you go to Paseo MOntejo and look to the Mansions from the Green Gold era, I recomend to take Turibus and they will give you a good explanation More

Walked along here many times, never got tired of looking at the icing cake colonial mansions. It's got somewhere to stop and eat and drink every so many yards. There's a great little sorbet place, cant remember its' name but def worth trying one of them. Starbucks is down near the roundabout across from Walmart, got my caffiene fix there... More

This is a beautiful place to walk on a sunday when they close the street for familys to bike there are seats to sit and rest a few cafes open on sundays our friend who we took in 2012 said it was like Paris. More

This is such a fun experience! The boulevard is closed to traffic on Sunday mornings for bicycle riding, rollerblading, walking or running. I enjoy having a Frappuccino at Starbucks, which is located about midway on the closed section of the boulevard, and watching everyone enjoying their day off! Pleasant stroll past beautiful Belle Époque mansions, some perfectly restored and some feeling like they might be haunted. Anthropology museum definately worth a stop. Nice selection of restaurants, too. More
